This site gets every live set from things like Festivals like Ultra, Clubs and so on, plus it has all the DJ pod casts.
I am a major Trance fan and it was amazing to see Armin close out Ultra and to watch it on video was just epic he really killed it and the light show was epic.
With all the A state of Trance and Ultra sets I'll have like a week or so of sets to catch up on...
Steve Aoki was actually good? I've seen him live and he was probably the worst DJ I have ever seen because he doesn't really dj.... and his set was brutal, but it has been 6 months since I saw him last, I'll have to give his set a listen to.
Seems like you are big into this genre, and know what to look for. Besides Armin, if in fact he is your fav., who else is? I heard Alesso's set at EDC, and it was amazing. I loved it. Oakenfold threw it down too.

That is hard to answer answer off the top of my head. I listen to a lot of sets so when I listen I take the songs I like from them.
I am mostly into the hard trance with big bass and those huge build-ups lately people like MaRLo, Orjan Nielson, Markus Schultz, John O Callaghan, W&W. This is just a few off the top of my head... there are so many more.
EDIT: A lot of people post about Eric Prydz around here to and he is also amazing it is just to bad he is scared of flying and has never left Europe he is one I would love to see live.
The drop in that is the **** I love.
Your best bet for figuring out what you like and who you like is listening to sets. Go to www.livesets.at and you can stream most of the sets from there.
If you like Alesso (House) look up Swedish House Mafia, Thomas Gold is really good, Fedde Le Grand I love, Kaskade, Dirty South and so on. IF you listen to there sets you can find songs by so many others and then it just starts to branch out from there I really think sets are the key to going about EDM.
Listen to a set hear what you like then you look the artist up is the easiest way.
EDIT: A lot posters love Eric Prydz around here and he is another one to look into. Just don't expect to see him live if your outside of Europe he is scared to fly
I believe Eric Prydz is taking a boat over to America later this year for a two month tour. So you will probably be able to see him. Maybe you'll get an EPIC aswell!

Very very informative post, thank you!
Myself personally, I'm about the drops. I don't get to see these artists live, I only get to hear them on the radio. EDC this past year was covered by Sirius Radio, so I heard most every set live/replayed, and I loved it. That is why I love Alesso. The video of Avicii you posted just wasn't doing it for me. I really wish I would have seen one of them live by now though, because it just doesn't do the music justice listening to it on the radio.

Live is best! Second best is crank the headphones and listen to a set! Without the bass and volume it just isn't the same!

This is probably the biggest vocal trance song out there right now.
Another one by Gareth Emery would be sanctuary to.
Also Avicii set from Ultra was really disappointing I am hating the direction he is taking.... 10 min of levels remixes at the end was ...... and no seek bromance
Was up in the air between going to see Mord Fustang or laidback Luke tonight since they are both here but different spots.. Going with Laidback Luke because somebody i know is performing before him
Discovered this one first now. I know it was pretty high on the techno list last year, but never heard it until now. Probably one of the best techno tracks the past few years.
I'd still say this is the best techno-track I've ever heard:
