If you guys haven't had the chance, I'd recommend watching America's Game. It's incredibly well done, and you get some insight from the players/coaches. Just watched 1986 with my dad, and was blown away. September 4th they're doing the 2011 Giants.

So you're allowed to sit out at will? Didn't he already sign the contract? He can just sit out?
Besides Drew also had a lot more carries than everyone else in the league.

It's not "allowed" but the thing with NFL contracts is they are not guaranteed. Teams can cut players at will and not owe them a dime. So when the players have the ability to turn the tables (because they have increased their market value) they often do.

Except the last contract he got he demanded big $$$ upfront thus its his own fault he is so underpaid at this point of his deal
He has no abilty to turn table ,, Jags have all the leverage
He either plays for Jags or he never plays again
Jags new owner isn't worried about MJD and what he wants

I wasn't addressing MJDs situation specifically. I'd be the first to say I don't know much about it.
My point was to illustrate why I actually can (depending on the situation) support NFL player holdouts.

Ramses Barden (finally) looking really good. Happy to see that. The more weapons the better.

Davis and Eli looked amazing tonight, was fun to watch. O-Line was blocking well too for the most part.
Tough break with Prince...I've watched that replay like 10 times and still have NO idea what happened there to injure him. It must have been when he pushed off I guess?

Doesn't CBS have some deal where they get some Friday games of whoever they want?

David Carr was unspeakably bad tonight for a guy who normally looks great in the preseason.
