Malkin had one bad season. He scored 77 in one (95 point pace) and 37 last year (71 point pace). Only last year can actually be considered bad and he missed half the season.
Iginla's peak is 50 goals/95 points. So for him to drop to 35 goals/70 points isn't that drastic. Compare that to Ovie whose peak is 65 goals/120 points and has dropped to 35 goals/70 points. Iginla is also 34.
Kovi's peak is 50 goals/95 points. He had one flub (last year), but is back at it this year.
Main point is that all Ovi has had a higher peak than any of these guys and has fallen further than basically all of them.
