I have a reputation of dating blondes, including my current gf. They're all over the map; everything from bat crazy (She's now the student body president at her college and Mitt Romney gave her a shoutout in a speech earlier this week) to a mixture of both (My current gf).

My one experience with a redhead is this: We went out in HS a couple times; she breaks it off. About a month later she goes to a party dressed as an, um, (how to keep this PG-13?) A hooker who specializes in pain.

Let's see, the redhead...banged AND DATED several dudes behind my back, opened up a bunch of credit cards in my name and maxed them out, ran out on a bunch of rent and utilities when she was living with a friend of mine, bailed on me and our son constantly, has at least $80k in medical debt, had to borrow about $3k from me to pay for her own stupidity, including being arrested and thrown in jail, had several tickets out in her name that led to her license being revoked which didn't prevent her from driving every day, lied to my face every single day about every single thing I wrote, used me and my family for money, clothes, and other things, etc.

This is why my current girlfriend is so awesome. She's more of a mom than my kid's actual mom will ever be and she's only known him a few months. She's incredibly loving, faithful, and honest. She actually wants to be with me and have a future together.

<---- very happy guy, now.

Wow, **** Jarick, that sounds rough. Sounds like a mix between narcissist, sociopath and a ****ing psychopath.

I would've beaten the ***** to a pulp, to be honest. I don't hit women, I never have, but sounds like she'd deserve it.

I honestly think every single human who has signs of narcissism should be executed immediately. They are no use to mankind, they can single-handedly ruin lives and make others suffer for their own good.

Sociopath definitely covers it to a T. Not the other two really. But the pathological liar bit, constant manipulation of others, no remorse, all that.

We did couples therapy for a few months to try and work through the barrage of issues, and at the end of the day the therapist basically said I was pretty much normal but she would need years of counseling and medication...and I'm pretty sure she still only knew half of what was going on.

With no offense mate, but maybe you need to read what you write and look who is speaking, you're a good dude, but still there is that tiny bit of irony there.

Oh God. I did couples therapy with my psycho ex, and let me tell you, it's extremely hard to make any progress when the other person flat out refuses to admit there is a problem. Then we'd leave and the crazy would start all over. I eventually just started going by myself and the therapist basically told me the same thing, that I was pretty normal but that she was a passive aggressive train wreck of emotions.

For the record, it sounds like my ex was a mild inconvenience compared to yours. I thank God every day I didn't have kids with her.

Agreed. Makes my ex look like a Girl Scout. (Semi-related: I got my Girl Scout cookies today for the gf and I. I got a box of Lemon Chalet Cremes, she got Thin Mints.)

Thin Mints rock.

Yeah, with the woman situation and now the car settled, my last two goals now are get a much better paying job (where I can work during the day) and drop about 40 L-B's. Do those two things and I'll be a happy man.

And to that end, got my job apps in hand to review this weekend (thanks again JB for the resume help) and hitting the gym, followed by a trip to the store to make sure I've got clean food for the weekend rather than the usual piles of crap.

So, lunch today was terrible. We have got to go shopping and get some actual food in this place. I dont even know where the microwave is so I could plug it in and nuke myself something frozen.

Man, those girl scout cookies sound good. Shame we don't have anything similar in Finland.

I still haven't received any calls or information re: my job applications. I guess it's time to send more.

You should go for easy, good food, such as frozen vegetables and some meat. Make it on pan instead of nuking it. Add some butter to the pan obviously first. You can make ton of it and store it on the fridge and make different foods out of the same basic ingredients.

I've done that for a while now. Saves you money, doesn't force you to eat that microwave crap and it's much healthier, too.

I haven't owned a microwave in ages.

I should get a cooking for lazy-***** cookbook or something sometime.

About the only thing I know how to make is spaghetti.

Well, you're right to feel shame, but I'm sure we can look past your faults.

When does the new job start?
