Lucic is a tough customer for sure but the toughest? No way he wouldn't stand a chance against Big Mac, McGrattan or Parros but man is this guy everything you want from a powerforward.

I'd deal Z for a guy like him.

He was. And he also scored the GWG later on that game

He tuned up Matt Carkner earlier this year who is a legit heavy. Lucic could hang with anyone in the game, and probably beat them IMO. His peers voted him the toughest player in the game after all.

i was hoping that this had the video with the Bruins feed and Jack Edwards, didn't disappoint, what a beauty he is. As for the fight, I think this one turned out how everyone expected it to. credit to Komi for standing in there and taking multiple good shots to the face from the monster Lucic

i think its going a little far to say he wouldn't stand a chance... he would be the underdog absolutely. Lucic is a very good fighter man

komi got absolutely pounded. Lucic threw the first punch with his glove on which is kinda sleezy.

Komisarek hits Lucic, Lucic just stands there and Komisarek shoves him...what do you expect? of course he is going to shove back...and then punch him in the face then the ribs then back to the face followed by repeated uppercuts and then after the fight he gets an assist on Seguin's goal.

Lucic vs Komisarek 5-0 4KO

Komisarek is like Rocky, but he never comes back.

Yeah and those guys wouldn't stand a chance against Mike Tyson or Muhammed Ali. Let's try again with guys who are actual hockey players this time, not healthy scratches for the most part.

I noticed too, but hey, it's just a glove punch I guess. A little cheap but who cares, not a big deal.

Also, good for Komi. Don't see the fuss. The guy knew he's not a great fighter but went for it.

I think Komisarek sucks but I gotta give that man props. He's taken some beatings from Lucic but he always comes back.

I respect Komi for that. Team is down and he actually showed heart. Regardless of losing the fight at least he tried sparking his team.

It takes a set to step up when you pretty much know what the result will be. Got to respect him.

He tried, but I'd prefer if he focused his efforts in trying to resurrect his hockey ability, not his boxing ability.

I can only give him respect. He knows exactly who he was going against, what his history is with him, but knowing how poorly and lifeless his team was playing, he went right as Lucic. Extremely admirable.

I can't believe how many Bruins fans are getting a hard on from this fight. Everyone knew Lucic was going to kill him, not sure why people have to try and shove it down Leaf throats. I swear some Boston fans live vicariously as a tough guy through their team. Yes I get it, "the Leaf kids started it first", makes you look so much better. I guess that's how HF works, the kids throw crap back and forth at each other and everyone else has to weed through it.

Good on Komi for going for it knowing he was going to get killed. Good on Lucic for showing once again why every other team is and should be jealous.

For me it reminded me of the beginnings of all this, back in the Spring of 2008. Komisarek and Lucic were a big part of the Bruins resurgence. Having the luck of seeing their rivalry play out live over, and then unfortunately seeing it die for the past 2 years, I was on my feet screaming when it happened.

Interesting that the 1st game in Boston without Ron Wilson babysitting him, this happens to Komisarek. I don't think he and Lucic had even been on the ice the same time in the past 2.5 seasons between their respective injuries and line matching. Though it is one sided, I hope this rekindles some of the drama, because that was so exciting to watch.
