I also don't think these guys are all old attitude era guys. These guys are relatively the same age that they should be as vets in this industry. This isn't like Nasty Boys, Hogan, and co. running into TNA. These guys left for better things, but all would still have current roster members if nothing had changed.
Even Stone Cold could have 2-3 years left if it weren't for his knees. These guys are all young enough to go.
edit:
Do you guys think the dark match was changed to have DB in it just to give the crowd what they wanted? Or was it advertised DB vs. Sheamus?
The dark match was a 6 man tag involving Bryan and Sheamus. They did a "yes/no" chant when Kane/Orton had an exchange and booed when Bryan would tag out, so he tagged back in. When he was on the offense, they chanted "YES!" when he was on the defense, they chanted "NO!" and when there was stalling they chanted "DANIEL BRYAN!" ****ing awesome. This "yes" thing is the new "what."
Here's the good thing about this involving Lesnar now and NOT The Rock. There isn't going to be much talking. This is going to be Lesnar kicking Cena's ass the first opportunity he gets, and that's why I can't ****ing wait for this! I can't wait for next week! Lesnar still has the legs to go on a part-time schedule - so it'll be interesting to see how much he appears from here on out now.

And to be technical, it's hard to call Lesnar an attitude era guy when he never wrestled in it.
On that very note, neither did HBK, hilariously enough(obviously depending on what you interpret to be the start of the AE).
Attitude Era or not, its better if WWE abandons the PG-era crap being fed to us.
Lesnar, Jericho, Rock, A-Train, CM Punk, and hopefully down the line a heel John Cena can put an end to the PG WWE era and bring some substance to the WWE. For the first time in a long-time, my interest for wrestling is on par with my passion for hockey.
Definitely the best RAW since I started watching again in January and maybe one of the best I've ever watched. After tonight I can't freaking wait for the 1,000th episode of RAW in St. Louis in July. And if The Rock is in a SummerSlam feud with CM Punk at the time it is going to be unreal.

The extreme PG stuff (as in overly kid friendly) ended with The Rock returned last year. Now though, with everything going on, I think it's safe to say WWE is pushing the envelope A LOT. I'm loving the current state of the WWE.

I consider HBK to be the best I've ever seen. But the elephant in the room is how can someone be the "best ever" when they missed the most successful period in wrestling's history?

This just looks so wrong.
I said after WM yesterday that if something drastic doesnt happen on tonights RAW (I honestly expected either a Cena-Rock II, or something to do with Cena-Tensai, I would probably stop watching.
But just when I was about to get out.. they dragged me back in.
This Daniel Bryan stuff is absolutely incredible, and I hope they can do something with him like when they were forced to push Punk to what he is right now. Of course.. Lesnar being back.. 'nuff said. Best WWE event since MITB 2011, hell this was better than Wrestlemania last night

I actually think the extreme PG stuff ended with CM Punk shooting on the company and getting suspended for it.
Am I the only one who didn't mark for Brock? I'm happy is back and sure, the ending was greatly scripted, but the crowd killed it for me and I think they killed it for Cena too. Don't get me wrong, the crowd was ABSOLUTELY amazing tonight, but they did kill the final segment. Brock music didn't give me any chills because I KNEW he was coming. The moment Cena said "I know, there's excitement in the air tonight", I knew Brock was coming for sure, especially since Cena wasn't into it from that point on. He knew everybody knew what was coming and he fell flat. Nobody believed for a second that The Rock would come out and that ruined the segment for me.
You knew?
Sounds like a personal problem.
I quite enjoyed it

Hmmm, very interestingly put, never thought of it that way. But, like FOTS pointed out, he did basically help create it(even before Montreal, a lot of it was the rest of the company pushing the envelope as he did), so that's something to be said as well.
Also, as for the DBD chants, sadly, I definitely don't think they'll stick. The crowd in Miami was just phenominal on all accounts, it likely won't continue. Maybe in Chicago for Extreme Rules, but I suspect it'll be another one-off.
If there was somebody out there who couldn't mark out for at least one segment on this show, may be time to stop watching for your own sanity at this point. This was the best Raw I've seen in about 10 years.
For the record I do think Bryan will be buried. He didn't just get over, he got too over and they're going to nip that in the bud. Why, I don't know. That's just what they do.
