As I said in the GDT, Dubi was our best all around player tonight. Threw his weight around, crowded the crease, picked up some points, and made several strong defensive plays. Let's pray this is the start of him getting his **** back together.

Not lazy. End of the shift without legs. See it over and over again in the NHL.

Great win. We looked like ourselves tonight (for that matter, we did on Saturday too). Keep the trend going boys. Detroit is struggling. Gotta maintain the momentum.

Dubinsky needs to carry over this game into Wednesday.

POTG: I'll give it to Dubi
The Good: Boyle, Prust, Zuke, Cally, epic gladiator fight at the start.
The Bad: Hank wasn't bad but wasn't great, Hags getting tired on that 2nd goal.
The Redden: **** that, we goin to the playoffs! Beards! Beards! Beards! Beards!

Yeah Hagelin with a rare soft backcheck.

Just a good team effort tonight. Couldn't really pin it on any one player.

Bickel had a bounceback game though and continues to surprise me with his straightaway skating speed.

1- Dubi
2- MZA
3- Hags

honorable mention: Rupp, Prust and Bickel for littering the ice with Debs blood at the start.

Our offense has been good recently. I wish the defense would return to form but it looks like it's not happening. Need Hank to go back Vezina form.

Biggest win of the season. Last game built confidence into this one, even with the loss. They came out on fire tonight and the Devils had no idea what to do to stop it. Detroit is going to be tough next game, but if Washington can beat them, so can we.

We're in the playoffs!!!!

Aside from the Pens stinker this is our 4th quality game in 5 attempts. Maybe not as much concern as we originally thought.

1)All participants of the triple fight. That might be moment of the season.
2)Dubinsky
3)Stepan

Nice to get some secondary scoring. Hagelin-Richards-Gabby were bad, their worst game since being put together, but Dubi-Steps-Cally came up big and so did Zuke.

One would think that Lundqvist was going to blow this one after reading this GDT, since, you know, he has never won a big game in his career. No one is denying that he hasn't been as sharp as he was, and he clearly struggled tonight, but some of the comments led me to believe that I had accidentally clicked on the Devils GDT.

One thing I think also gets overlooked with Bickel is his willingness to throw the puck towards the net. Him and Girardi are probably our two best D in that sense.

After the adjustment of not looking forward to the game, things went much better. Lesson learnt.

Our depth players stood tall tonight. Zuc was outstanding. Dubi and Cally had a strong game.

Hank struggled, but got the win. He needs to get into a grove.

Staal looked horrid for most of the game. He was getting beat constantly in the corners. His skating was not good. I think pairing him with Bickel is not a good idea. You can't pair two poor skating Dmen together. I know Staal's skating is not this bad when he is on his game, but its just hasn't looked good this season.

Del Zotto needs to start learning to shoot the puck. That pass on the PP was awful. He has a wide open shooting lane. If he shoots that puck low, that puck probably rebounds where he wanted to pass the puck to in the first place. If he wants to be an effective QB on the PP, he has to learn to make better decisions. I thought he was solid defensively though.

Gabs was horrible, the worst player on the ice for the Rangers. He made Hags look a lot worse than he was actually playing(I thought he was good aside from some defensive blunders). He needs to get his crap together.

I LOVE BEATING THE DEVILS!!

Nah, if you were there, you'd be reading about how much Parise sucks.

I defend Lundqvist ALL the time. Still, I have no problem pointing out when he lets in an actual soft goal. It is what it is. He's picked the team up countless times, they picked him up tonight.
