So what you're saying is all the *****ing and moaning after a loss achieves nothing at all? Okay good, so we're on the same page that all the crap going on in this thread is pointless.

My point was that the team ISIN'T going to panic. They're going to re-focus and get ready for a big weekend and get things together quickly.

Where as 80% of the fan base is going nuts and play all the worst case scenario cards. Absurd

If Konopka was not good at FO's he would be in Binghampton for the year. I would hope that we have someone better down there as we sure don't look good with him in the lineup.
Team has too many scrubs who are borderline NHL players. Konopka reminds me of Neal when he would take stupid penalties and cost us and at this time of year those can truly kill your team. It will really suck if this team ***** the bed and pulls a Laffs trick and finishes 9th

This

If the team was all like "oh, well we had a off week, where our leading scorer has a couple massive distractions, well we are just a terrible team" then they would be where everyone thought they would be

There's such a thing as losing with class, you should try it. Losing is a part of life, if all you're going to do is whine and complain every time it happens, you're going to live rather miserably.

I'm completely with you until this part. They're professional athletes. I'd would hope they can keep their composure better than their fan base, which can be fickle, emotional, and irrational.

All of a sudden we're scared of Buffalo? Will some people pleeeeassse give their heads a shake?? Extremely annoying when the drama queens take over the board.

If you adjust for games played then he is ahead of only Neil and Konopka: same TOI issue.

EDIT: I see Canadianhockey beat me to it (and actually made a more appropriate measure)

True hockey fans SHOULD NOT be fickle and irrational. Emotional....yes.....frustrated.....of course. But have some god damn faith in your team, be positive, look ahead and not back and for god's sake look at the facts. How in the hell can people be concerned about Buffalo catching us when they quite possibly have a tougher schedule than us and would have to go like 7-2 or something and we're have to go 3-5 or 2-6.

Make just even some sense and we can have a discussion. Act like a women during the time of her month with your hockey team, and you can ****

my god people relax. More than likely we are going to be sitting in 7th. It is up to FLA to help surpass Boston.

If we face boston then gg

A Sabres win puts them 4 points back with 8 games to go. It's an entirely real possibility that they overtake us should this losing streak continue much longer. Being overconfident is no better than being overly paranoid either.

3 goals would PROBABLY win 60% of the games.
0 goals NEVER wins games.
Just need to find the net and the Devils are a tough team to score against.

We''re 4-4-2 in our last 10 and Buffalo is 6-2-2. If they win tomorrow they're 4 points behind with even games played.

Yes, I'm scared.

And then there's people that have their heads stuck in the sands ignoring reality and what is going on right in front of their eyes. Dream all you want , I wouldn't pin myhopes on the Sens suddenly turning things around in time to secure points. Bufallo is playing muchbetter thanthe sens right now. You repeating the words drama queen isn't going to make the problems disappear.

It's a shame our offence dried up, we'd be pretty close to locking up a playoff spot by now.
