the sharks really don't need any one to win or lose, they still control there own destiny. granted that just means the sharks need to win some games lol.

they are 1 point back of dallas with the same amount of games played. (2 games against them)

they are 1 point back of pheonix with 1 game in hand (2 games against them)

they are 1 point back of colorado with 2 games in hand (1 game against them)

they are tied with the kings with the same amount of games played (with tonights game the sharks still play the kings 3 times)

one thing i like about this, is if they don't make the playoffs this team has nobody but themselves to blame (yes that normally is how it goes, but this time it really means that. since the sharks face off against every single one of the teams they are fighting with down the stretch)

i have no problems with Vandy coming in to replace either Demers or Murray because they have looked awful and Vandy hasn't really been given a real chance, but Tmac putting back in White is too stupid for words. Also, starting Niemi AGAIN because of some false sense of security/loyalty is just beyond idiotic; especially after seeing some of the huge saves Griess made in relief last night. I can't wait to watch Tmac serve as the the sacrificial lamb after this abomination of a season is over. <end first rant of the season>
