Lundmark to Hartford

Confirmed by various sources. Including Maloney and Renney at the conference tonight.

The meetings will be on MSG. But check hockeybird.com for an article in a few days for a story on the event.

I was there too. I hope they do get the Wolfpack to MSG. That way Ranger fans that can't make it up to Hartford can see them. Too bad they can't do a philly set up and have the Wolfpack right across the street or close by.

Lundmark should help their offense abit. I bet Lundmark replaces Lawson. That is my gut feeling. I think Hollweg has played pretty well to stay in the lineup.

weird, it would make a lot more sense to bring in Prucha. Does this mean that Betts is done?

I am not so sure that Lundmark will help them much on offense, I think the problem is the system, this season and last season the team was just lacking offense.

um i don't think the rangers can bring prucha over at this point and its not like he is lighting things up in the czec league. I say this while admiting i have never seen him play

the system the wolfpack play is the system the rangers are going to play. i'm happy this team is using the players correctly and are succesful doing it. its not like the rangers are holding back some great scoring forward prospect in hartford. most of the players that have a legit shot to play for the rangers in hartford are 3rd/4th line guys.

Great move by both sides. Hopefully Jamie can learn the system well, and gain some confidence. I'll say he'll really start to establish himself points-wise by mid-seaon. Who knows - maybe Balej and Lundmark can develop some chemistry.

I think this is the final chance for Lundmark to show what he can do and to show if he can work hard. Probably Rangers staff don't want to wait until NHL resumes to decide what to do with him.

Betts is hurt. I think it's his shoulder. I'm not 100% sure.

You didn't state that in your post, you just said is betts done? But,they didn't say anything. They just said that he's always going to have bumps and bruises on his face, because that's how he plays. I believe he was hurt when he was with the Flames organazation, but I'm not sure what happened to him.

Yea Betts is extremely injury prone it seems like. Good to have Jamie to fill some injuries.

The question for me now is do you put Lundmark between Balej and Wiseman on the first line or have him center the second line that chances every game? Separate post thread perhaps.

I'd leave Wiseman-Moore-Balej together and have Giroux-Lundy-Hamilton as the 2nd line or 1a line.

I think Giroux's size could open up alot of room for Jamie and I think Hamilton has the jets to skate w/Jamie and hopefully create off the rush.

I'm pumped that Jamie is getting back on track in the AHL.

the Wiseman-Moore-Balej line has already been broken up the last few games.

Hamilton has been out for awhile now so they haven't had any scoring from the 2nd line and even the 1st was starting to struggle but when Lundy comes in and Hamilton returns you'll see a much more balanced forward group big guy...

Glad to see Jamie...

change his mind, finally. Now I hope he can get himself back on the 'NHL' track. I wonder why the change of heart.

This is a really good move by Lundmark. Regardless of why, it's a solid move and where he probably should have been the whole time.

Perhaps balboozer...

or maybe he's had his vacation in Italy (of which I am jealous as I am dying to get back there), and it's time for him to move on. Whatever the reason, he better arrive in Hartford with his game face on a being ready to go. He's got some catchin' up to do.
