Some Buffalo notes for tonight's game:
Quote:
- Patrick Kaleta will not play; he is day-to-day with an upper body injury
- Travis Turnbull will make his NHL debut on the RW with Boyes & McCormick
- Ryan Miller gets the start in goal; 22-8-6 all-time vs. MTL; 2.26 GAA & .923 save%
- Tyler Myers returns to the lineup after serving his three-game suspension.
- Nathan Gerbe remains day-to-day with an upper body muscle strain.

Turnbull will dress as RW4 and wear #65. And for those heading to the arena, Craig Muni will be in the tailgate tent tonight.

As for Montreal:
Quote:
March 20, 2012
All players were on the ice for practice on Tuesday, with the exception of the injured players who will not be making the trip with the team to Buffalo, including Brian Gionta, Travis Moen, Tomas Kaberle, Scott Gomez and Raphael Diaz. Mathieu Darche skated on the second ice but will also not accompany the team to Buffalo.

Lines at Practice

Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole
Eller-Plekanec-Bourque
White-Leblanc-Blunden
Staubitz-Palushaj-Nokelainen-Goeffrion

Gorges-Subban
Campoli-Weber
Markov-Emelin

- The Canadiens held an optional practice Wednesday morning at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo.

- Both Max Pacioretty and David Desharnais opted to skip the team's morning skate but are still expected to be in the lineup for tonight's game.

- Carey Price will get his 62nd start of the season against the Sabres Wednesday night. He currently holds a record of 1-2-1 against the Buffalo squad.

You stop the Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole line, you probably win. You don't, and you probably lose. Get it done.

You've got to be ****ing kidding me.
Give me another excuse for Myers receiving 3 games for that bull****. I dare you.

If he's going to fight, I hope he wraps that wrist before the game so he can actually throw. Still, I'm sure Staubitz and White will challenge him, but I'm not sold on him being forced to toss the mitts. I think McCormick knows his role tonight, and that's going to be making sure his franchise defenseman doesn't have to fight unless he wants to. If Cody doesn't chuck the lefts tonight, I'd be beyond surprised. Hope his head holds up.

No need for an excuse; he made a dangerous play and violated the rules.
I'm fine with the suspension itself and the length of the suspension.

So did we ever agree that Doug Allen wasn't the problem?

Please don't point at the camera Doug. It's rude.

Good on McCormick. He knew his job tonight was to counter Staubitz and went after it.
