He was very physical and hard hitting for the Tbirds. Also a very willing combatant, lots of fighting majors. I remember one game I went to that he got two fighting majors and a double-minor roughing (which should have been a third fighting major but the refs let him off the hook for some reason). He was also very strong and tough for his size. Kinda PJ Stock-like.
Love his effort and toughness and heart... I've never thought of him having an NHL skill package though. Could be a 4th line energy winger or bottom pairing defenseman, maybe. He could prove me wrong, though, and I hope he does. He was a big fan favorite in Seattle (including this fan).
