On a related note, only 3 games for repeat-offender Doan. Shanahan is starting to look a little inconsistent. I'm curious to how he will respond to discipline in the playoffs.
Hey Doan, it's cool. Go ahead and predatorily target the head of a player on a divisional rival in the midst of a hotly-contested playoff race. I won't hurt your team that much.

The bad news, I have Keith and Daniel Sedin on my fantasy team that is in the 1st round of the playoffs right now.

Halak in net tonight, likely Elliot tomorrow. Unfortunately, they've both been dynamite.

Wow yea that's probably a 4 gamer.
He jumped up and slammed his elbow into his head. Little bit of a payback hit obviously for the hit Sedin threw on Keith earlier in the game.

Looks like Chicago will be in the playoffs.
How will Columbus ever make it in the Central Division? They need to push for realignment.

Or push for a new GM who doesn't have his head in his ass.
Look what Florida has accomplished with a gm who knows wtf he is doing in Dale Tallon.

That game really doesn't matter as far as the Kings are concerned. STL is way ahead, and ANA is way behind.
Just hope the _ucks make them play 65.

Watching the ANA/STL game, and the refs allow a spearing by Halak into Perry's rib cage.
Ref may have been screened.
Hope the Kings take notice...this guy is a great goaltender this year after a slow start, but that is a filthy play.

Doan suspended, Benn hurt, Sedin hurt...
I never want to see anyone seriously injured but taking those three out of the Pacific/West equation doesn't suck too bad for us. Although I know Benn is probably fine, but maybe it will affect his play somehow.

I don't think the Doan suspension will change much. They'll miss him, but they will rally around it.
I personally don't think the 'Yotes make it this year, even though I would rather them make it over SJ or Colorado. But who knows.

Yeah, but Keith had 4 assists for me the other night and now he is probably going to get suspended. That's a double whammy for me losing D. Sedin and Keith on the same play.

Yeah, but they're missing Vrbata as well and goals are going to be hard to come by if teams can focus on Whitney and his line.

Sucks beat St Louis in regulation. Kings really need to come out flying tomorrow. St Louis is just an average team at best on the road (they are killer at home, only 4 reg. losses all year) and on the back end of a back to back.

I was at the Hawks-Nucks game tonight, was actually sitting a few rows behind the Vancouver bench, they exploded when the hit happened.
These two teams really really hate each other. A shame they won't play each other in the first round again.

So Halak might be suspended tonight?

I doubt Halak will play tonight anyway.
