Quite frankly, Calgary doesn't deserve a playoff spot. Losses to CBJ, EDM, & Min in 1 week during the stretch run. Really?????

Just because I want to be fair with calling players out. I got on Mike pretty hard.

Schenn last 18 games 1G 0A -2

Simmonds last 18 Games 4G 4A -2

Mike Richards Last 18 Games 2G 10A +4

Pick it up boys, Mike is out doing both of you down the stretch.

Simmer and Mike both had Shootout goals tonight, nice.

Schenn has been a ghost now that Games are getting tight.

Not to mention his leadership, shootout and defensive contributions which don't show up on that stat line.

I think Schenn was always drastically overrated on this board, like a lot of our prospects (Colten Teubert the next Scott Stevens).

Great, he lead the WJC in scoring, how many of those points came against the USA, Russia or Sweden and how many came against France

I wanted him up for last years playoffs because the thought of Stool as our scoring line center made me sick to my stomach, and because he could have helped on the PP.

I supported the trade at the time, but I'm still concerned about the decline in Richards numbers, and Simmonds is a unique player, not many like him in the league. But it was still a trade that had to be made, the Kings were trying to contend this season and it wasn't happening with 20 year old Schenn or Stool expected to play a key role in the Top 6.

Do I read this right? The only Western Conference teams playing tonight are the two who are already mathematically eliminated?

*whew* A night to breathe before mad scoreboard-watching tomorrow night!

Friday night is definitely a night to relax. Nothing of note tonight.

You'll need all that anxiety for Saturday. (Note the odd game times.)

Calgary @ Dallas 11AM - Go Flames! Go Regulation!
Boston @ Los Angeles 6PM
Vancouver @ Colorado 7PM - Go Nucks!
Phoenix @ San Jose 7PM - Go Regulation!

Its really sad. I'm a Kings fans first and Sens fan 2nd. When one team does well, the other sucks.

So why is King Henrick such a Lock for the Vezina ?

Henrick GP 55 GA 1.91 SO 8 SV.933 Shots 1580 Wins 34

Quick GP 62 GA 1.96 SO 8 SV.930 Shots 1707 Wins 32

I mean Quick has played more, and meant more to his team.

I really think it's a two person race at this point. No way Elliot or Halak get considered with those split games.

As sad as it is, this is absolutely true. I would be shocked if Quick even finished in the top 3. Between the east coast bias and Quick being on a team that has never made much noise in the nhl, people are going to completely ignore him. At least till he wins a cup

This question and accompanying stats belong on the main board, but Ranger fans will say it's because the Rangers are in 1st place.

Kings should hope he doesn't....need to keep that contract down...look how much the DD Norris nominee got him. Why do Kings players break out before their contract extensions instead of after

Another question is why is so many people riding Rinne's jock, saying he should get the Vezina this season. I don't think he's been that good to even be in the top 3.
