Oh man that's going to be a funny gif of Petro dodging two Ducks who smash into each other. Like a cartoon.

I actually think he looks pretty good so far today. His boardwork and cycling have been above average and he's moving his feet well. Something about playing with Arnott seems to get the best out of him.

Great wrister by Backes. It looks like Anaheim's defence is fairly pourous. I hope the Blues can take advantage and score 5+. In addition to Schwartz's shot, both Arnott and Crombeen had good chances, as well.

Agree. Often he looks good for a few shifts and disappears again but he's looked tenacious early.

Oh man, they didn't score, but what a play by Berglund and Schwartz drove hard to the net.

Seems like a natural scorer, something this team hasn't had for a long time.

So...That's not a penalty? Obvious bias is obvious.

Maybe Schwartz is exactly the catalyst Berglund needs. Jury's out b/c he looked good with Stewart last year but early returns are promising. Schwartz really is a gifted playmaker and Stewart's player profile isn't that so I'm optimistic.

Yup for this season, I'm perfectly content with him on the third line with Arnott. They work very well together.

It's almost like the Blues just have two man pairings and the third guy is interchangable.

Backes and Oshie are always together and Arnott and Stewart are the same way.

BTW, Shane Doan got a 3 game suspension for that elbow to the head of Jamie Benn. Could be very pivotal in the race for the last couple playoff spots.

I swear Petro takes a bigger beating than any other star defenseman in the league.

Great period, beautiful breakouts, dominating 5 on 5.

Rest did them some good.

If Kariya is out surfing a lot, his concussion issues must have cleared up. Guy deserves a nice retirement. Can only hope Pronger improves.

Oshie needs to teach Pie the art of the reverse check. Pie takes too many hard hits.

Ducks are the dirtiest/goon-iest team in the league?

Am I alone in thinking this?

You ordered pizza, right? Anyone else considering ordering a Schwartz jersey? If he does well in the playoffs, I'm getting one.
