What do you expect from Kadri next season?

One of our rare first round picks is still being groomed in the AHL for almost a full two seasons now. His patience must undoubtedly be wearing thin, as are the fans. What's it going to take for him to make the transition to the NHL full time?

It's not like he was doing bad during his brief stints with the big club either. In fact, he's played less games than Brayden Schenn and has more points which is something to consider before you call him a 'bust'.

Is next year make it or break it for him?

What do you guys expect from him next October?

I hope he improves his core strength, and legs.

I expect 15G 27A 42P at minimum if in top6

I would hope he would be a full timer next season. Depending on wht moves are made this summer, my expectations would not be too high!

I think he will be traded in a package for Nash still.

I'm probably in the minority but I really don't care whether his "patience is wearing thin". When he is ready he will play.

Still with Marlies, not because I don't think he's good enough for a spot on the Leafs. Just because why change anything, seems like a hassle.

lol. This is Burkies make or break season. I think he's going to make a change whether it is a hassle or not. But I don't see how kadri will find a spot in the top 6. If we trade for Nash I see him leaving.

If there were an option of "With the Leafs but won't do much", that'd be my selection

Wouldn't be surprised, if Kadri can have a good September, if he ended up on the wing with Grabovski...
They want him top 6, and i wouldn't be surprised to see McArthur and/or Kulimen moved, opening up a spot...
They have been developing Kadri for a few years now and it may be his time to step in...

And then we become smaller still, re-enforcing the new smurfs identity of the forward core

I voted for trading because I believe Burke will want to go into next season with some big changes and therefore Kadri probably traded with a kulemin or MacArthur for an upgrade at those positions or something. I would like to see Burke move Mac out for w/e he could get and give that spot to Kadri but I doubt that happens.

I hate kadri playing third line LW ... but there's nowhere else for the kid ... teams going with Grabo. Trade him if you can get a top6 big body to replace Kulie/Mac.
