Tootoo - worth a grab? UFA this year.
Failing that. PA Parenteau?

Tootoo's got a career-high 29 points...I don't think he's what we're looking for in a scoring wing.
I like Parenteau, but he'll be looking to get paid. I wouldn't want to be the one who pays him.

I think you can add
David Jones (
UFA ) or better yet,
Nikolai Kulemin (
very bad year for him ) to the list

I'll take 2 more years of Dupuis and then Beau Bennet.

can't wait for this main board thread:
Dustin Brown dives , Refs make no call, Crosby whines.
but seriously Brown is a great player.

I've always been a Tootoo fan, and even though I have no idea where he'd fit in, I'd like to have him.

I think Tootoo will get re-signed to Nashville. He's great publicity for them right now.

If Kennedy could step up, and show more consistency in a top-six role, then I'd definitely consider signing Tootoo.
I'd buy a Tootoo jersey as soon as he signed.

I think Bennett will fit in nicely eventually if he's given a chance in a couple years.

If Niskanen and Kennedy can have a dynamite playoffs, that a good starting point for what DL was rumored to want for Brown.

I hate to say it but I like this idea, we need to save our cap to sign Staal and Tanger. One year rentals, solid veterans who are at the end of their careers, thats what we are looking for.

I think its the name for me, I have no reason to like this guy or keep track of him, yet I want him here.

Setoguchi for me. Two more years at 3M, won't cost as much as a Brown would. And our front offices (Pitt and Minny) know each other so they may already like some of our prospects or moveable roster players.
He's basically a rich man's version of TK at only 1M more.

I'd love to see Pavelski (a good Wisconsin boy) in a pens sweater, however I can't see anyway San Jose will part with him.
Off the list Brown or Stewart would be great. But I'd also be willing to wait and see what Beau can offer in 2 years. We've already seen that Sid can flourish and hone his skills as a third line center.

I know this won't be the most popular choice by any stretch, but Mueller would be an intriguing option.

With as cheap as Latendresse would be, I think he'd be fantastic. Low risk, high reward

Whoops.
For some reason I thought both Martin and Michalek were only signed until 2014.
