No, but it should be fun this time around again. I really enjoyed myself last time we went out to Burnaby.
I'm decent with faces, but there's gonna be a lot of "hey you!" from me again.

Starfighter is joining us as well.

Rather gruesome, you say? That begs a story.

Hope you feel better and can make it - no worries if you can't.

They should be overlapping whatever you use as suspenders (velcro or old fashioned suspenders) by a little bit. Better too long than too short!

garter belt actually...or get the shorts with the jock built into them - they'll have velcro that you attach the socks to!

gruesome injury was gruesome...haha

I was playing in a slopitch tourny here in Nanaimo on the weekend - playing 1st which is generally where I play in mens. Ball hit and 3rd makes a play on it, rushed the throw a little bit so it was a bit offline. I stretched back towards home to make the play. Ball got to my glove the same time the runner did...

long story short, elbows are only supposed to bend one way...2nd baseman said he heard the pop and was disgusted by what he saw haha

Got to ride in an ambulance, almost passed out from the pain and have a very swollen, very bruised elbow/forearm/bicep now. Just beginning to get full movement without pain in my fingers and wrist hahah

Is that what I was trying to pretend I had last time...?

If there's anyone here who doesn't want to hit the ice but wants to do breakfast/brunch after, come on out!

By talents, I meant being good at sitting on the bench, eating ice and drinking water. Isn't that what everyone else was doing?

haha...it wasn't fun at all. Like I said though, progress is being made. I'd love to get out for my game tomorrow, but that ain't gonna happen since I'm still kind of in a sling haha

I don't even remember taking any slap shots lol...I probably did though...and it's my left arm, so my bottom hand when I'm shooting. I'm thinking I'm going to be a little gunshy about applying too much pressure to anything with that hand/arm for a while.

Hopefully I can make it still though...was a blast the first time

ALSO! Don't let anyone tell you that slopitch is "just for fun" and no serious injuries occur lol..when there is $2000 on the line for first, **** gets real! lol

I was doing my best Kevin Bieksa impression on one play when I went down to block a shot

Only when the play was in my teams zone long enough for me to slowly skate back...I was tired and badly out of shape.

It's no piss-jock though. That one is truly a whorish jock. I don't even wash it anymore.

What are you doing 9:30AM on October 6th that doesn't let you come play shinny with us?
