I wouldn't be surprised if people here fall less than Raymond while not being a professional athlete in the NHL.

That left me laughing out loud. I think I'd pay real money to see that in real life.

Wicked. It's all in good fun! I don't think anyone's going to take this too seriously. But for giggles...

I think that's enough to kind of get us started. Anyone else who wants to come and we can just drop the price as the group expands.

So at this stage, let's say we did this...

Saturday, May 12th
12:30PM - 1:45PM
Burnaby 8 Rinks
Burnaby, BC
$223.75 + Taxes = Approx. $250.60 / 19 People = $13.19 (round up to $14.00)

ooh ooh!

Can I be the War Room in Toronto?

"Hey can you check to see if the goal was good? He gloved the puck and threw it into the net."
"Any cameras?"
"No"
"Was the guy who scored wearing a Canucks jersey?"
"No"
"Good goal"

If this goes as well as this thread has i am hoping that there is a ball hockey version organized so the few of us that don't have equipment or can't stop while skating can make it.

If you guys organize some ball hockey I'd be down. I lack any ice hockey equipment or the skating proficiency to play ice hockey.

Considering you seem to be the one organizing it all, it seems pretty clear to me where you fall

"If you are lucky the Organizer is usually smart enough to take himself off the ice in critical situations. "

How is it not May 12th yet?

I'd be interested in going. Rented some ice with friends last weekend at a different Ice Sports for $99 and they gave as an extra hour free. It was a blast.

I turn 19 on May 21. Not even fair.

I think I was a blend of the young guy and the organizer. Somewhat decent but out of shape, and will totally organize things.

...also apologetic when I screw up.

Sadly, not much question of which I am ... the old guy, only sadly lacking "the old guy can be an effective player, especially if hes a wily old guy" .

However, I will be very popular for bring a 24 of beer and selling it cheap.

I'll have my Kesler jersey with me, but I won't be wearing it on the ice. Would never let that thing near my horrendously smelly gear.

I have a red Habs style jersey with my number 9, and my name on the back from one of the charity tournaments I did a year ago, and a dark older Dallas Stars jersey from a tournament a couple years ago. Both are darks though, so whatever team I'm on it better be dark.

I'm going to have to be dark as well. I only have a couple of old roller hockey jerseys - both purple.

Here comes the chirps.....

Haha, I had a Habs home white jersey with no 9 and my name on it back when I was 10

Down to $12.00 per person now. 2 goalies and 19 skaters. If we get one more person, that gives us enough for 10 aside (two full lines). That'd be pretty much perfect.
