The only thing Nubben has done is not renewing contracts.. plus fired the goaliecoach mika tarvainen. He havent really signed any great goalkeepers lately but mika tarvainen is still pretty damn good and they need him not just for developing goalkeepers but also for them to feel more secure etc. Nubben stated that they will play withoug a goalkeepercoach now
Getting worried now, seems like Timrå will be 10 times worse next season. All he has done is hiring 2 juniorcoaches.
Who are these juniors that will compete against other selplayers? Becuse Timrå is investing alot in juniors to the next season. How large is the budget? 100k per month? -.-
It's almost impossible to judge goaltending beforehand these days. Go back to the start of last season. Who would have thought that Luleå's goalies would do that good... or that a 21 year old Danish goalie would be a wall during the regular season.... or that the championship goalie would be a guy called Niklas Svedberg?
Was Sebastian Wännström left off the Brynäs roster because he's coming to North America (), or because his contract was up after this season and he hasn't re-signed yet?
He signed an ELC with the Blues last summer, so he has a deal in place over here already, should he decide to cross the pond. He might have a tough time making the NHL roster, but he would be a very welcome addition to the Peoria roster until the inevitable mid-season rash of injuries strikes the Blues...
He was on loan from St. Louis to Brynäs this past season... so in a way he wasn't even signed with Brynäs this past season. The reason he's not on Brynäs roster then is that he's not their player.
So what happens next is up to St. Louis and perhaps Wännström himself.

Do you, or anyone else there, have a sense of how Wännström might feel about playing in the American League? Because if he does come over, he's up against some long odds to make the Blues' NHL roster at right wing.
Other teams seem to have little trouble getting their Swedish prospects to play in the AHL, but the Blues seem to have issues with it. Is it because Peoria's not exactly the garden spot of North America, or are the Blues just drafting the wrong players?
The Lakers are going to have a sick top 6 next season.
Vampola - Rosén - Kallio
Saviano - Moran - Reddox
Wasn't that what people said last year aswell?
Then they had Iggulden, Kallio, Moran, Reddox, Saviano and Soares as their top6, which is quite comparable/slightly worse than what they have now. Either way they still lack defensemen, take away Holös and their defensemen look like mid-Allsvenskan quality it didn't work last year and it wont work this year either.
