And cute girls are awesome. I take cute over hot pretty much every time. And yes, a '10' cute girl does have just as many guys eyeing her as a '10' hot. The difference, in my opinion, is that more of the alphas are going for the hot girl, leaving a weaker playing field for any guy going after the cute girl.

This. We are jacking the thread. But I can tell you this folks that are younger than me (28). When you get past the point of "wtf am I doing with my life" stage, the cute girls are the ones who end up having the cawks thrown at them left and right. Namely because they are the ones who are intelligent and have a personality. Hot girls are awesome to "alleviate tension" and that is about it...
This is very true.
I had zero attention from decent guys until I hit about 22. And then guys just flocked to me. I am not at all hot, but I've got a cuteness about me. And later in life that pays off! Plus, I'm not a dumb ass and have made something of myself.
Oh, and weighing in on the cute - hot argument..... I think I would take a cute 10 instead of a hot 10.... Cute girls usually have better personalities, and cute girls are, well.... adorable.
My wife doesn't believe that there are two separate 10-point scales for girls..."cute" and "hot", and ne'er the two shall meet. This is a 10 on the cute scale without question.
(And for anyone not familiar with it, a 1 on the hot scale is not anywhere close to the same area as a 10 on the cute scale. It just doesn't work that way.)
