Team's MVP of the second half of the season, or even of the playoff surge. Do you guys think it is as close as some of my buddies do? Or is it Miller in a runaway? Anybody else a nominee here?
Is one more valuable to the recent stretch whereas the other more valuable for the second half as a whole? Sort of coincided-ish...
This team did a 180 when Ennis got back in the line up. It should be him in a landslide.
Miller has put us in position to win 34 of our last 35 if we could have. Should be Miller, and calling it Ennis in a landslide is certainly insulting to Miller.
Miller's been amazing but let's not act like the D didn't shore up in a major way as well. Props to Ennis of course.
The D was never a major problem. It was the forwards, and their lack of commitment to the defensive aspect of the game, that left us inept as a TEAM on defense.
Miller has to get the most credit I feel, simply because the wins started coming after he began stealing games for us (6 shutouts this season, only Quick (7) and Lundqvist (8) have more) followed by general team defense (forwards backchecking and providing outs, etc), and then most certainly some of our top 9 stepping up production.
Almost as laughable as the premise that Ennis is the second half MVP.
Are you saying he's not the goat? 7 Million dollar man producing nothing. Get rid of this bum, I don't care how much he produced in the first half, he's done nothing in the second.

Miller's been great down the stretch, but he's been here pretty much all season. This is a different team with Ennis in the line up. When he was first injured, we were a good team. When he was out, we were awful. When he returned, we became a top team again. There is a direct correlation to Ennis playing and this team being good.

When Tyler Ennis returned to the lineup on December 2nd, the Sabres had a record of 13-10-1. At the All Star break, they had a record of 20-24-5.
Tyler Ennis played all these games, yet the team went 7-14-4.
Since the All Star break, which most observers agree is when Miller's game turned around, the Sabres have gone 15-5-5.
Ennis has been playing very well lately, but to say that he's the reason this team turned it around in the second half is absurd.
A bit of a tandem. Without the scoring, Miller's goaltending would be wasted. Without the goaltending, they'd be dead in the water most nights, regardless of goals for. I'll go with the lender of goats.

Please explain why you don't think he is the goat. Maybe you mean to say he is not the only goat??
- He's been playing injured for most of this season.
- He's still putting in the effort night in and night out.
- Vanek and Pominville carried this team in the first half when nobody else was doing anything. I'm willing to cut him a little slack for slowing down in the back half.
