I don't think we can consider any of the other 29 teams in the league "bad" on any given night. We have to just play our game regardless of the opponent.
This could be a tougher game than we may think. The Oilers are playing spoilers and are doing well as of late. They also have had success in the past, winnning 6 of the last 7 games against us. Whatever was the issues in Carolina needs to be prevented from happening again tonight. To answer the question of if we're a good team: Yes, I believe for the first time since 2000, we are one. This team can beat anyone on any given night. However, are they a great team in my mind? No. They don't have even close to an incredible roster to compete on paper with some other teams in the league and are not consistent enough to be trusted yet to say to go deep into the playoffs. I think that will happen over time.
Need to bring the effort tonight! We better get the 2points because the Oilers played last night and we didn't! And it's a team we should beat. Question is will we bring the lunch pale to work!
I hope there is cheering a' plenty outside Pantherland tonight!
GO CATS!!!!
For anyone that thinks us in Murphy's Army dont make a difference, this was from a recent Toronto newspaper:
"As Randy Carlyle candidly was telling reporters outside the Maple Leafs dressing room how his team had just “self-destructed,” you could hear the home fans outside mocking Toronto supporters by singing “Hey, hey, hey, goodbye.”
Can it get any lower for the Maple Leafs organization than being ridiculed by Florida Panther spectators?"

HAH, that rules. Thanks for sharing that.
In other news, let's take it to Edmonton tonight and really show the Canadian teams that we're still serious about this season.

at least the toronto media admitted we had fans. A step in the right direction.
We HAVE to go full throttle on these next 5 games and take advantage of them. It starts tonight so lets get it done. There should be no reason for us to not win at least 4 of these next 5. It starts tonight. LETS GO CATS!!!!
