Good for Hamilton. He's been a super consistent scorer for the marlies this year.

Hamilton eh? Should be interesting.

Also funny how Kadri gets called up the same day he voices his frustrations. Looking forward to seeing him with a good chance.

And now we learn all Kadri had to do was say I should be on the Leafs and he would get on the team.

It's about time for Kadri to be called up. IMO the moment playoffs were no long possible he should have been up. None of the pressure of screwing up and costing us a spot and all of the incentive of maybe somehow contributing to a miracle run to 8th.

Hope he does well, the kid has payed his dues in the AHL.

I agree the Leafs should play without a full roster tomorrow.

Hamilton There's the answer next year! Why not keep him down where he scores and plays big minutes to win a trophy and call up Colborne to get him experience now that the season is all but over? I really don't get it

A friend of mine knows Hamilton and apparently it's been pretty discouraging for him to see friends like Earl, Foster, and Boyce get a shot at the NHL while he's been battling injuries.

So, I'm happy for him.

FYI GM's don't do call-ups, coaches do

I think it's to reward Hamilton for having such a good season in the minors, he'll go back down when injuries are healed.

Good to see Kadri given another shot, maybe Carlyle wants to see how Kadri handles his coaching and stuff to see if he's someone that fits the team in the future.

I hate that we are calling up kadri. He usually makes an immediate impact in his first few games (then tapers off) and that is exactly what we DONT need right now.

As for hamilton, good on him. They are probably trying to see if he can be the Brent/Boyce/Crabb of next year.

Clean slate for Kadri. Hope he's ready to make the most of it.
