Oh please. If Teams had a choice at having their own skill players go one-on-one with the opposing goalie as opposed to having 5-on-5 or 4-on-4 where pucks are deflected, intercepted, and blocked, in order to win a playoff game.....
I don't want to put this loss on Brodeur, but I'm getting ridiculously tired of these types of games where "Marty played well" but we still lose despite some goal support.

You play to win now. Moose was playing lights out. Nothing wrong with giving him two in a row. Marty's a big boy, he can handle it.
The Devils dominated, they played a good game. Leafs pounced at the right times.
Marty had one of his weakest games of the season, and one can only hope that it was just an off night.

A lot of teams struggle in March, we still have sixth place(sole possession of it) and we are playing meh hockey and they still came out of the last two games with 3 points.

You know what? Considering what happened in our own building against that team and considering what happened tonight, I think we go in there and win 8-0.

Yup. Buffalo looks like they won't ever lose another game this season. At least not regulation. The Caps blew a game tonight, and let Winnipeg come back, and win in OT. Hopefully they're done.
I'm not worried about our chances like I was last week, but Buffalo, and Washington are really gonna battle this out, and someone might get screwed. With the Senators the way they're playing it could be them.
I would have loved to start Heddy for this game, given his latest performance, but it would never happen. I'm not blaming Marty for this loss either, I'm just speaking in general.

It's pretty pathetic to give up 3 goals on 17 shots. Not for Marty just for the whole team. Too many times it looked like 1967 with the Leafs playing for the Cup, and the Leafs on a PP when it was really even strength.

C'mon....In the playoffs, you take a victory however you can. It's basically win or go home. And I'm sure the players would much rather NOT go home(unless it's with Lord Stanley).
