this is not the first game this season where the reffing has been obviously anti-ottawa...is there still a grudge?
We haven't lost a game all season where someone on this site didn't blame it on the refs. I conclude that we would have an undefeated season if only the refs didn't hate us so much.
Whatever, Toronto and Montreal fans can be as happy as they want. Their teams are still both complete **** and neither is turning around next year - it's a rebuild for both.
This has got to be rock bottom at this point, right..........right?
hmmm lost to the bottom feeders of the eastern conference, I would say that this is rock bottom, lets hope the Sens don't start digging. Things can still get worst, I really hope they get better.

Some great logic in this one. "Because at least one poster per loss blamed it on the referees, they are all invalid".

Conversely, I don't think we've lost many games in which we didn't have any reffing issues to complain about.
We definitely need to troll the refs a bit. They're due.
I bought tickets to the game tommorow. If the reffing is this bad I am going on the ice to punch a ref in the face. Then I will proceed to punch him in the face again.
It's not about the Sens losing because of the refs. It's the Sens not having the ability to try and come back due to the refs. Sens lost the game all on their own tonight with a piss-poor performance in the first.
But usually you can get out of a period and try to come back in the next and make a game of it. However, Sens just couldn't get any momentum when every 3 minutes there's a lopsided penalty.
Disappointed to say the least. I think the boys have funked up their chances for the playoffs, looking at the remaining games for Buffalo, Washington and Ottawa.
Sens had a chance to put some distance on the teams chasing them, and they didn't rise to the occasion.
Too bad. Not trying to be negative. I'm hoping that my gut is wrong, but my gut says they've pooched their chances with too many bad outings and a pathetic power play of late. .

Well push the panic button, get on the red phone and start calling for some help, get the Silversurfur guy, Z-bad, Leh-something, the French guy, someone that rhymes with pimpel. Throw them into the fire and see if they will sink or swim. Lets shake this team up a little.

It's kinda hard to score goals when you're constantly on the PK, and you're not getting your fair share of PP time, that may not always equate to losing a game, but it comes pretty darn close to it...

Lol. I would love to see that, but I recognize that you're exaggerating.
However, I wouldn't be opposed to someone (preferably a loud-voiced individual) going down to ice level and demanding the ref refund him for his tickets. That would be both appropriate and funny, and wouldn't involve expensive court fees or jail time, either.

You think I am exaggerating? You will be severely disappointed tomorrow when a ref is punched repeatedly in the face by a handsome looking fellow.
The only good that can come from this game is that the players realize they're effing up all their work this year, and that they can get their heads on straight for the stretch run.
If this isn't an eye-opener, I don't know what else can help them get out of this slump.
