You play every other game in the playoffs too, it won't get any easier.

Yea, but they'll get a 4 day rest after the season is over. They are playing 17 games in March and then another 4 games in 7 days in April. That's 21 games in 38 days. They need rest to replenish. And Hank will be back in form for the Playoffs. I'm confident everyone will step up their game, yes even Dubinsky

The thing that's interesting about our D is that I bet if you look at shots against average, we probably gave up fewer shots on goal in this month than the other months. I can think of only 3 games where we even gave up 30 shots on goal. The chances allowed however are a lot higher. Look at the Buffalo game, they only had 26 shots, yet look at the quality. The same can be said against the Leafs. 25 or so shots yet they give up a 2 on 1, a breakaway, the Leaf (Crabb was it?) scored on a fluke off his skate but he was all alone in front of the net. The Buffalo game was not a fluke, the Leafs game was more of the same.

I know it's Columbus, but did anyone see the highlights from the Wings game tonight? So...beautiful.

Kyle Clifford gets 2 minute unsportsmanlike conduct for spraying the goalie as he put on the breaks...so ice hurts the goalies now id just slash the players leg if someone sprayed me with the ice.

While I and most Rangers fans on this board agree that the Rangers have overachieved, there's something that REALLY rubs me the wrong away about the color guy for TSN saying that they overachieved. Seems unprofessional. Leave the analysis to analysts. He's not even doing the Rangers game.

Yeah, I heard that as well. Agree with everything you said -- they probably have overachieved, but he shouldn't have said that on the air.

This game has the makings of my worst nightmare. A low scoring game game that Vancouver wins. Canucks gain ground on the presidents trophy race and Quicks GAA goes down. FML.

Tom Pyatt has 4 goals in 3 games people.

Guess we lost the Gomez trade.

I'd rather the Kings just missed the playoffs. When's the last time a Vezina winner's team didn't make the playoffs?

I can't imagine being focused on individual awards when we're in first place fighting to stay there.

After getting in argument with a Kings fan who said that the Rangers are worse than every Central team outside of the Blue Jackets, Vancouver, and every Atlantic teams outside of the Islanders (didn't mention Boston shockingly), and also said that the Rangers are no better than the Kings, I want them to miss the playoff too. The Kings are closer to the Islanders than the Rangers in the standings.

I still remember reading dozens of posts claiming that Montreal won because Gomez brought some BS intangibles/experience.

Wow Karlsson had 3 points and +5 rating. Those are Paul Coffey-esque numbers.

Wont lie. I'd take Subban as a Ranger in a heart beat.

Exactly. And that is where their focus should stay.

The way Washington and Buffalo are playing, one of Ottawa or New Jersey could miss the playoffs.

So you agree with his statement then criticize him for calling a spade a spade? Nice dude. Who gives a **** what the announcers have to say anyway?

Yeah, he's on pace for 20 goals and 80pts. That's nuts. Also it will be interesting to see how his contract negotiations go this summer. I think this is his third season in the NHL.

He seems to be a shoe in for the Norris.

Devils aren't missing the playoffs. They are not relinquishing a 6 point lead with 6 games left. They'd basically have to lose the rest of their games. I predict 8th place will have 91 points.

What would be great is Ottawa passing them so they have to play Boston in the first round. I'll be rooting hard for Chicago tonight.

Also Let's go Isles... vomit.

Penguins obviously hoping Letang hasn't suffered another concussion. It's been a rough year for him and hits to the head.
