Totally lackadaisical play in the defensive zone by Ovechkin on that last shift. Looked like Hunter at least learned a little bit from the OT sit-back last night and had them playing a little bit of offense.

Damnit! This was a total playoff type failure with this game.

Ted should find the nearest blunt object, then find McPhee and smash it into his face a few times. See if anybody gives a damn.

This. Why embarrass ourselves with another quick exit? I'll take the higher draft pick and pray for Brendan Gaunce.

I don't even want to make the playoffs with Hunter in charge, would be more embarrassing then last year. Fire him now.

good work to all the idiots that were touting our unblemished 3rd period "with the lead record". Morons, absolute morons.

I'm off this team. Season's over when you cant win a game at home, mid way through, up by 3 freaking goals.

I am so god damned tired of this team.

Ted, wake the Eff up and clean house.

3 stars for the caps
laich- great fight there to get some energy for the caps
hunter- way to shut down the caps in the 3rd
ovechkin- great defensive effort in OT

Two goalie interference goals that shouldnt have counted have cost us 2 points and given the Jets an extra 4.

Well you can't say the team that deserved to win the game didn't win the game. And Hunter and the Caps got what they deserved...

Exactly right...Caps screwed by the refs as usual, but the horrid coaching plan in the 3rd was worse.

Said it before, of all the teams fighting for the playoffs we have to have the least sense of urgency.

I don't understand Hunters strategy when it comes to playing with a lead.

Why would anyone force their players to play this way? Is it just the players are **** at executing it?

Should be pissed that the gm threw a grossly unqualified Caps legend into the line of fire as a last ditch effort to save his own worthless career.
