Really? I see we are hitting a good deal more under Hunter if that is what you mean.

If you mean throw down with him then I agree. We have 1 heavy and he hasn't seen the ice in weeks. This is the most puzzling thing I see with Hunter really.

This makes me happy to think that they are actually going to give Holtby the start tonight.

I like Holtby a lot, but I play Neuvy tonight if I'm Dale. Why not? He's been pretty good in the 2nd half and he's rested.

Rob Carlin being a bit of a "richard" last night singing Holtby's praises while standing about 6" behing Neuvy's head.

Kane was all over Orlov's junk last game after clean hits. Don't need a heavy. Just someone to return fire.

Ward is on crutches hence the Eakin recall.

Why not? Because a win eliminates Winnipeg and puts Washington in the drivers seat and a poor loss and weak game by Neuvirth means Winnipeg is right back in the hunt.

Just in terms of their mental makeup, I think Holtby is actually a much greater risk in general for a letdown game than Neuvirth (but is also more skilled). In this particular case, I think Holtby is a good call though. The kind of implicit endorsement that being given the back-to-back games constitutes is something that seems to fuel his game very significantly, just as reassignments and the like do the opposite.

So Ward is injured. That's the reason for the Eakin call up.

I feel bad for Ward. Hopefully Eakin can provide the speed and scoring that Ward hasn't.

Neuvirth hasn't had many weak games in 2k12.

Good work putting Neuvy in Hunter should be fresh, Holtby played well last night but it is a back to back after all

Clearly Chimera had the puck there. He must have a 20 foot stick.
