Yes and no, if we have Koivu, Cullen, Brodziak, and Granlund go out with extended injuries at the same time (much akin to what happened to our defense this year), there's a good chance we end up missing the playoffs. We should be able to survive spot injuries, as well as limited extended injuries though. But if we have one position (such as center) have a string of injuries we could still have problems.
The chances of all four of them sustaining injuries around the same time is almost impossible. Then again this team continues to surprise me when it comes to the amount of injuries we receive.

well yes, but I like our chances a lot better than this year with hungry kids with talent coming in. Depending on who we have in our call-up pool centers are our deepest position, right? Obviously it's going to hurt if all of those guys miss significant time but we have players/prospects with some experience at center, at least. Almond, if he's still around. Powe. Larsson. Didn't coyle play center? I'd say Larsson as our second line center is better than Peters as our fourth line wing. probably.

So was Lats, Butch, Koivu and Seto all at once at one point.
And did Cullen miss a game or two in that same stretch? I cant remember.
if we are possibly picking a little later in the draft and still want some offense what are peoples opinions on radek faksa?
62 games: 29 goals, 37 assists for 66 points
Depends on the medical report. He sustained a potentially severe concussion last week. I had him in my top 10 until that injury. Without word on how he's recovering, I can't really say where I'd be comfortable grabbing him.
TB @ Toronto
Montreal @ Carolina
Anaheim @ Edmonton
I'd throw Dallas @ Nashville onto that list too. If Dallas loses, Phoenix clinches a playoff spot. It's one step to Saturday's game with us being less important for them.

Ah, good catch. They could still have seeding implications though, right? Although the difference between playing Vancouver and St. Louis is probably pretty minimal right now.

Oh yes, the division is up for grabs yet. But since they play Friday/Saturday, their division hopes may be over by then. They might be playing for 7th/8th, which isn't much to care about.

i would rather face vancouver personally, good chance lou is a sieve
Asked Craig Button on Lindholm and Bystrom, this was his response
Quote:
@theWildHorde I think Lindholm is a top 2 defenseman and Bystrom is a top 3, perhaps a top 2. Still working on comparables.
lindholm is a guy who has offensive potential, he skates well and is 6'02, i think some people questioned his defensive play but with Brodin on pairing it won't be a huge issue. If we drop too much i wouldn't mind trading down and picking Lindholm.
