I haven't heard of any presale. I assume a presale is for season ticket holders only.
Edit; yeah the presale is for Islanders & Nets season ticket holders only. go to www.barclayscenter.com or contact the New York Islanders at 1-800-882-ISLES (ext. 2) for more information.
They go on sale to the general public on March 29th at 10 AM
Pre sale for those who like the Barclays Center Facebook page too.

There is a presale going on right now for season ticket holders. Anyone that wants the code PM me as I am not sure what the mod rules on posting such things are. If I'm allowed, I will just post it in here.
For those buying, the $19 price point is the best value in the building. I learned this the hard way after getting the $31 price point which is about 10 feet lower to the ice in the same spot. But basically $41 is upper sidelines $31 is upper corner/end and $19 is upper goal-line.

But the goal lines might be the seats that are obstructed like they are in Phoenix.
For a preseason game, i think those seats are too expensive.

One would think the obstructed seats would not be sold out of the gate or be disclosed. The first game (albeit preseason) is too much of a risk for negative impact.
The goal line seats are not obstructed. The obstructed seats havent been put on sale yet. Obstructed seating will be the corner and endzone seats in the end closest to the main entrance. That end of the arena has not been put on sale yet. All seats inbetween the goal lines are non obstructed, and all seats at the eastern end of the building are non obstructed. Any seats you can pull up today will have a perfect view of the rink. The $19 seats are just a glitch in pricing or a good deal.
Does anyone know which sections will be the ones with "obscured sightlines"?
Like I said, theyre not on sale yet, but sections 228-231 and 201-204 will have obstructed views. The seats in the corners (228, 229, 203, 204) you wont be able to see a chunk of the near corner, similar to corner seats at MSG. 230, 231, 201, 202 will be the real bad ones as you wont be able to see about half the offensive zone just below you, including the goal, or anything around the goal. Presumably, the Islanders will be attacking the OTHER end of the arena twice.

then i fully expect them to be sold. if there's something that needs to be done incorrectly, Charles Wang will find a way.

But if the NYI are attacking the other end of the arena twice, then you'll miss 2/3rds of the game, because we know the puck won't be in the other teams defensive zone.

Ratner and the Nets are in charge of all tickets that go on sale for this game.

This is a very valid point, but on the bright side, youll miss all the parts of the game that you hate watching, including 2/3 of the goals against.
Here is a link someone put on Mania for the 3-D seating at Barclays. Its the best indicator of any obstructions that any seat will have. One net will be almost right smack in the middle of the stage, a bit more towards the back than the front, and the other net will be very easy to figure out by looking at the configuration of the seating bowl on the other end of the arena. If you can see both areas from a given section, your seats will be just fine, although some seats in the corner by the stage will have a bit of the corner cut off.
There are really only a couple sections in the entire arena that dont allow a view of both goals.

I signed up and did not get that message.. grrrrrrr...
just got mine in 226, looks to be next to the obstructed view if what the earlier poster wrote about 228.. should be interesting as long as they actually play the game, who knows what will happen with the cba
Brooklyn had a team that never played there for those not in the Know. They wanted an arena but the Americans folded before any arena came to fruition.
got mine yesterday through the pre sale, 19 dollar tickets, in section 211, looks good to me, i cant imagine the hockey seasing chart will be much different
