Well...I do live in Montana...

It's just a matter of preference for me. Finnish women, on average, seem to be more attractive (as I said earlier, most people women I came across were 7s or 8s with very few low scores...in Sweden the scores were all over the map, but with a lot more 9s and 10s) and, from my experience, better able to hold a conversation. Sample sizes are skewed, but that's just the way it is. Sweden has a few more 10s in their pocket, but a whole hell of a lot more 2s and 3s. I was actually really disappointed by the women in Stockholm.

Regardless they're fighting for 2nd or 3rd in the entire world. Nothing can top Czech women, but Scandinavians come close.

I'm 75% Irish and 25% German. My grandmother always told me that, "you get your looks from the Germans." I never knew what that meant.

Every girl I fell for while studying in Denmark was Polish. I blame the accent.

Belorussia is pretty far from Central Europe, there Coach.

But yeah, we Slavs are a good looking bunch. No contest there.

Their accent did nothing for me...at least the ones I met in college. I do like Swedish accents, mainly because it tends to be faint. The one Finnish girl I met, she didn't have a great grasp on English, so I'm not sure what their accents sound like.

I pretty much loathe the Swedish accent, actually. Sounds like the chick is wasted drunk.

Hate to post it here, but I am desperate to get rid of these tickets. I purchased 3 for Fridays game hoping it would be on Saturday. Unfortunately for me it is not.

I have 3 seats in Section 231 Row N, Seat 18-20. I will let them go cheap. I just need them gone.

If nothing else this frustrating day of computer problems let me get nice and acquainted with an old friend of mine's new album...

I almost forgot how much I loved The Shins. It feels oddly weird that the album is so...Shinny...considering the last album was 5 years ago and James Mercer is the only member left from Wincing the Night Away. The drummer is also one of the drummers for Modest Mouse...

Just dropping by to say Penguins fans must have the thickest skins in the universe if this is what you've had to deal with since the Crosby lottery. It's only been 11 hours since the draft lottery and I can't believe the amount of vitriol directed at us.

But hey I'm hoping our rebuild results in a Cup likes yours. When the Penguins won the Cup did you guys have to deal with "They only won because they tanked!" and such and such? How do you deal with all the hate?

Thanks and good luck in the playoff, I'm rooting for your team to win the Cup. I can only hope my team will be half as scary as yours in the coming years. Crosby and Malkin are beasts and anyone who trashes them are just jealous.

Any success the Penguins have had for the last 7 years is due to the franchise tanking.

I'm a little jealous of your username and avatar!

It does get better. When your team and players are out of the news, you're only subject to the occasional snide comment or annoying thread on the main board. People are still jealous and hate your team, they just aren't thinking about it 24/7.

When your team wins, the people on the main board will say it was only because of tanking. They always come up with some excuse, though. Boston was just a hot goalie. Chicago tanked like the Pens did. The Pens tanked and won a rigged lottery. Detroit gets away with all sorts of obstruction because the refs favor them. Ditto for the Devils.

There's no such thing as a good team that deserves to win, according to fans of other teams. People suck.

+1

Really enjoy their new album... it took them practically half an entire decade to deliver it to us, but it was worth the wait.

I've only listened to the new one a few times, but it's pretty good. The Shins are one of those bands that I listen to primarily for the lyrics anyway, so I'll probably like anything James Mercer ever does.

Nothing can beat Chutes Too Narrow though.

My dinner consisted of 2 BLT sandwiches. Each BLT had a half pound of bacon on it. I feel like a man.

You would have felt more like a man if you got rid of the sissy lettuce and tomato on it and just had a bacon sandwich.

I called it a BLT, but there was no L. In it's place was mayo.
