If there was a poll I think it would be something like TSN 500 - Sportsnet 10

I CAN"T BELIEVE WHAT I AM SEEING RIGHT NOW!!!

Sportsnet is actually a showing an old episode of Hockey Central. I mean LOL. They open with the Ottawa Montreal game but it isn't the game from tonight, its the game from like 2 weeks ago.
Wow, this is the most Bush league BS I've ever seen.

Edit: Now they are showing highlights from the Winnipeg-Washington game, but its an old game from Winnipeg not the one from tonight that was in Washington. This is amazing.

TSN has a better broadcast, but Sportsnet has Gene Puncipe so my heart says a tie.

CBC is still better then both.

I'd rather nail my johnson to a table than watch Sportsnet. I actually stream the opponents feed to my Television so I don't have to watch Sportsnet. Tedious, but, oh, so worth it.

His short lived television show was just awful. I don't know who was writing that monstrosity but it was painful to watch.

He does a great job on Sportscenter though.

Haha I saw this as well. It kind of underscores how bush league they are in comparison to TSN and CBC.

Does anyone else notice that sportsnet almost never shows the faceoffs during Oiler games? Instead they have some close up of a player on the bench, or some graphic displaying a useless statistic. It's annoying as hell. They also seem to only be able to get a replay of a penalty about 30% of the time, but even at that it seems like they would rather discuss some stupid anecdotal story about a player's personal life than the actual game.

I've seen sportsnet actually miss a GOAL because they were busy discussing a players personal life on the bench..."so, Petry, what did you eat for lunch today?" ....Eberle scores

From wikipedia:

In July 2011 Onrait began hosting The Week That Was on MuchMoreMusic, a half-hour show featuring humorous clips from other Canadian Television shows. The show was intended to be a Canadian version of The Soup. Onrait continued to host SportsCentre and Sportscentre Morning Rush on TSN and TSN2 while hosting The Week That Was. The show was cancelled after 4 episodes.
It was really bad, the writing was just abyssmal. I get the feeling he had nothing to do with the writing process, at least I hope so.

4 episodes, yikes, I'd probably hang myself in a hotel closet. What a trooper.

Yep, it's actually happened a couple of times when quick goals go in off the draw. Meanwhile you have Gene talking about one of Taylor Hall's grade school teachers while we get to see a close up of the bench.

I wish they would show more effin' replays. It's almost a guarantee that if you miss something you will never see it again. I know text contests, and obscure made up stats and whatever junk Gene has to talk about is important and all, but cmon man. The one time an Oiler throws a big hit I glance away or sneeze and I miss it for the rest of eternity.

I'm thankful for all three (CBC,TSN and SN)

.....anything is better than having to listen to Micheals and Stauffer. Anything the 3 networks have to offer instead of these two wannabees, are penneys from heaven as far as i'm concerned.

I don't mind Sportsnet as much as most here. At least I get to watch most of the Oilers there. TSN is usually some random teams and then Dreger spitting some TO ******** to the masses. Just like when he was on Sportsnet talking about Mats Sundin fishing during the lockout. I don't give a eff about TO.

CBC is the lowest for me. Always TO and Mark Lee/Kevin Weekes

I'm not sure what the question is targeted towards, but if it's for broadcasts I go with Sportsnet. Yes TSN has the way better personnel, but Sportsnet actually spends a good chunk of the intermission on the game they are broadcasting. TSN makes a point to make sure you know how the Leafs or Raptors did.

Anyone else wish that the Roadrunner would show up and give Principe the Wile E Coyote treatment, but in a much more itchy and scratchy kind of way?

TSN easily. Gene Principe may be the worst on-air "talent" I have ever seen. Painful to listen to.

Thats the worst thing about them, you think a replay would be obvious but not to sportsnet.

I guess to be fair, it's not called Toronto sports network for nothing
