Seriously man...Look at Jeff Skinner, look at Tyler Myers, look at Claude Giroux, look at Jordan Eberle, look at Erik Karlsson, look at Jake Gardiner.

You should just be happy that the Leafs didn't lose last day to Montreal and finish 9th overall. We will get a top ~8 pick easily.. and there is quite some hockey left to lose .

I just can't be sad because Kadri lifts his confidence by scoring a goal and a deciding goal..
Yup, and theres still tons of hockey to be played around the league. The Rangers lost 4-1 so they'll be looking to bounce back tmr against the leafs, a loss for the leafs

Sorry to be so crass but did you morons actually think we were going to lose every single game for the rest of the season?

Sometimes this board is like a knitting circle of whining b***ches who only watch hockey to give them something to complain about.

The Canadiens are gonna win tonight as well, guys. Seriously. Relax. Tampa are one point behind us with two games in hand (IIRC), and the Islanders are a couple of points back with two games in hand as well.

We're gonna be in tough against the Rangers tomorrow night, then the Hurricanes, Flyers and Sabres next week. If we lose even half those games, we could potentially drop to a bottom four or five position.

Montreal is coasting to a win, and NYI, Minnesota and Tampa all have 2 games in hand and are 3, 2 and 1 point back respectively. Looks like EDM might be going to OT. We might still be only 5 points out of 2nd OA after tonight. We definitely won't be more than 3 out of 3rd.

We lose to the Rangers and the tank is back on track. If we win, though, all bets are off. They'd better not.

I thought Kadri, Schenn and Reimer had good games today. Kadri was just full of confidence in the last shots of him.

Komisarek had a noticeably bad game imo. I hope he disappears from this team next season somehow...

The players winning or losing one particular game reflects nothing about management.

Agreed. Kadri, like Jake should've been here the whole year.

In hindsight, I sort of regret the Franson trade. Yeah he's good and we got him for nothing, but we had to take ****ing Lambo, and he just takes up a roster spot and cap space. Would gladly take Kadri over him. We also might lose Franson in the offseason, with him being an RFA and all and the coaching staff barely playing him.

Can you people be happy with Kadri instead of cursing him? Less than 48 hours ago he was talking about how he wanted to play for this team so badly. Now his first game back from the AHL and he still has the guts to pull off a move like that. You have to respect the kids character.

Makes you wonder what a whole training camp and some fresh legs for Carlyle could do for this team..

Had Kadri or Reimer been nonfactors in this game, these idiots would be complaining about how our team is so bad, no future, etc.

You just can't win against this crowd. Makes me sick.

Perhaps the anti-tankers should look at the standings and how close the leafs are to the 2d/3rd overall pick. I hope they get effed up so bad tomorrow.

Hopefully this at least gives Kadri some confidence. As for the rest of them, **** them. It just drives me nuts seeing them try really hard and celebrate in a useless game but give absolutely no effort in games that mattered. Seriously, **** them.

The book's out on Reimer: high glove.

The book's out on Brodeur: just shoot anywhere

Agreed, must be one of the most idiotic notions I've come across on this board.

This isn't some scrub, it's a player you hope can come through in key situations. I get all the tank talk, but when it's your top prospect, it's only good. On the other hand, watching roster space wastes like Lombardi, Komisarek, Armstrong sure warrants frustration.

Solid game from Kadri, already more effective than Ashton. Really liked Hamilton's game as well.
