the perfect team at the right time for the Kings to use as a measuring stick when it comes to the stretch and the playoffs. just if they thought they were untouchable and going to be able to go into cruise mode, this is a good thing. current SC champ, LA played OK against and at times got dominated. shows them they still have work to do, with plenty of games down the stretch to take care of business. hate seeing them lose, but this game could turn out to be the proverbial blessing in disguise.
it was great to see Pancake take the night off also. dude was invisible, until that scrum in the 3rd with im guessing Marchand (went to comm break and couldn't see it). so for anyone still thinking he is worth re-signing for even a cheap 1-year contract....hell no. guy doesn't show up.
MR and Carter were also silent all night, not sure where they all night. Kopi got the Chara pairing, so MR's line should have picked up the slack. Fraser's line was more effective tonight than the #2 or the #3.
