True story: I went to the 67s game last night and ran in to Dan Bylsma during the second period. No need to divulge the conversation. But its no surprise that Thiessen is starting tonight.

You can all thank me later.
If we win tonight by a wide margin i'm gonna find out where you live.
I really hope some of our prospects pan out and become top 6 players or we're ****ed without some serious FA signings(who wants to sign with Ottawa?), especially with Alfie retiring soon.

Lol @ the pessimistic post. You spoke from a different perspective. Watch this...
Oh man, we are in a playoff position during a RE-BUILD year without any of our major prospects on the roster like Silfverberg and Zibanejad? Or even Lehner? Damn... Who wouldn't want to sign in an up and coming team especially with a number 1 center just entering his prime and one of the best defense man in the league in Karlsson all this and Cowen isn't even scratching his true form? Future is looking bright!
Honestly, someone has to beat the Pens so why not us? They're starting Thiessen so we catch a break right there. Last night, everything that could go wrong did go wrong, so you have to think that things will begin to even out.
We have to get a PPG already, it's just absurd and that would go a long way into give the team some confidence and get things rolling.
Bishop needs to step up and have a big game, ala the Rangers win a couple weeks ago. We all know he's capable of making some huge stops.
We ARE taking this game, we need the points, things are getting way too tense and a win would be absolutely massive. They need to believe they can do it, we play the Pens hard and they got to come our firing early on home ice!
