So because he isn't as physical as you want him to be we should trade him. Got it.

Agreed. 5 goals and 3 assists in last 11. Hopefully he can keep it going into next year and help our bottom six contribute more.

Sick drop pass right there! Wallace seems to have hands if he's got some room.

What can I say I'm just not on the Hedman bandwagon. Maybe he can change me next year. I hope so but so far I'm just not as impressed as some are here.

He is physical just not all the time. It's not like he's never come in contact with another player. Just earlier in this game he made a beautiful play to shoulder Tavares off.

Still it's no reason to trade him.

If you're not impressed with a kid that just turned 21 and already plays top pairing minutes some nights and manages, at a minimum, top four minutes I don't know what to tell you. C'mon now. He has holes in his game, sure, but if you think for a second the rest of the league wouldn't take this kid, you're silly.

At some point blame has to be placed on those who run the goalies, defense, etc.

Pretty much agree with everything here...Only 21, still loads of potential and time to improve on what he's done so far. I'm not worried.

Yep. Offensively tonight marks his 6th point in his last 11 games and defensively Boucher trusted him enough to put him out there in the final minute of a 1 goal game.

Just to clarify, the comment was made out of frustration....I don't advocate the trading of Hedman just yet, but someone his size needs to start using it to his advantage and he isn't. Other than his long reach, he's chasing - not playing the man. Now Commodore comes to this team, starts flopping in front of the net and now Hedman's doing it. If it's coaching and not the players, then they need to fix that. From my understanding that's Lacroix's job, and he needs to get it in gear because this has been going on all season. This team, defensively, has neither strength or physicality.

Granted Borje Salming was 2 years older when he came into the league, but he was also one of the first foreign players and he had no problem throwing the big checks and he was a lot smaller.

I was at the game so I had no clue what was going on but did they say anything on TV about what Roli and the ref were arguing about all 2nd period? Like every stoppage they were having a pretty heated discussion and at one point when the ref skated away Roli basically gave him the bird. It was pretty funny.

And Tim Wallace is amazing. Dude has 3 goals and all of them have been sick snipes.

Didn't think he was that good tonight as previous games but still got on the scoresheet with an assist. Once he's started getting more ice time his game for the most part has improved.

I'm not sure what the deal with Marty has been the last month or so but he's been playing bad. Seems like he's turning the puck over a ton lately and making bad decisions. Hopefully he's just in a funk and it's not the beginning of a downturn for him. Not a good game by the team tonight but they managed to pull it out. Good for Wallace to score the winner against his former club.

There was some speculation over on BP that maybe Marty's vision is still blurred from that injury. One of the beat reporters did say when he came back that some of that might be permanent. I sure as hell hope not. But, if things are still fuzzy, it would account for a lot of the problems. Specifically, the missed passes and some of the turnovers.

FORMER SOLAR BEAR BRETT CLARK played like ass for most of the game. Then he makes a nice move in the third, and played well for the rest of the game.

Where the hell was he all this time? Playing lazer tag with bad Roloson and lazy Vinny at the Ice Sports Forum?
