Nurminen owns

Pasi Nurminen has played his first game for Malmö in the swedish SEL.
He made 35 saves and saved his team to a tie (1-1) against Frölunda

Frölunda shoulda won with 10-1 or something if it wasn't for Pasi.

Malmö is the worst team in the leauge and Frölunda is the best, so i guess you can say Nurminen is a pretty good keeper

Oh that´s why he signed with Malmö. It seems that he wants keep himself busy during the lockout. He played in Pelicans, the worst team in FEL, and kept the team competitive facing 30+ shots in almost every game.

After Nurminen left Finland Pelicans is sinking again... The previous lost tells it all: HPK - Pelicans 12-3

Speaking of Blatny, Holly, was the a reason that DW didnt offer him a contract? I know we have a lot of third line type gritty guys, but thought he was one of the better ones. Again, this may have been discussed, and I may have missed it. Thanks Holly.

A little update on Nurminen again:

Nurminen shut-out Peter Forsbergs MODO yesterday and he also made 2 assists. Thats right 2 assists!!

Here is a video clip from the game

Isnt it a bit TOO much when the goalkeeper saves all the shots and also starting to climb their scoring ladder?

*Begin Jedi mind trick* Looks like you guys have no need for Lehtonen. You should really trade him to Philadelphia for John LeClair and Tony Amonte. *End Jedi mind trick*

What did you guys give up for Adam Oates again.

Seems like Nurminen is human after all. He only saved 10/16 shots yesterday against Timrå IK, it wasn't his fault though. They lost with 8-1.
