Where do you guys get this stuff that we don't come back? We've shown that this team doesn't give up. How many comebacks do we need in order to show that this team can in fact come back?

I'm going to hell for laughing at this. Oh wait - Toronto hasn't won their ticket to Heaven, either.

They have a top 10 record in the NHL when trailing first.
They have a top 5 record trailing after they first period.
And they are 11th in the league in win percentage after trailing after two periods.

I am talking about multiple goal deficits. If anyone feels comfortable being down 2 to any team in the third, give me whatever pain killers you have.

Most people don't feel comfortable down 2 in the third period because most teams lose if they are down going into the 2nd period no matter they deficit.

And I know this is the calling card of the excuse maker but it has to be said.

This team has zero puck luck. Hopefully we are saving it up for the playoffs.

We've come back from a lot of two goal leads. I can name 3 just off the top of my head. Philly, Washington, Ottawa (3 goal deficit)

We outshot them 46-17. I'll take this game as a positive on the offensive side of the puck.

The offense looked good and if they continue to shoot like they did in this game they will be fine.

Not too worried about this game. The goals against were kinda flukey, the team fought back from a 2 goal deficit in the third period, and like it or not, I doubt it's easy to take games like these as seriously as they would have 2 months ago, now that they're comfortably in a playoff spot. ESSENTIALLY, this game didn't really matter. We've seen that when the Devils are motivated, they score. I'm not worried about them being motivated once every game starts to count for something.

Goals or not but I hope they don't break down in coverage again because Pitt is going to make them pay for breaking down in our own end. Hell, Toronto made us pay

The Momentum Line is awesome. I see a pattern that our most effective lines often have Zubrus on them. The Snooze Line, the Geezers, and the Momentum Line all have exactly one player in common.

No way NJ beats Pittsburgh, but it'll be a great test for the new line combinations. It's amazing how much better the lines look without Boulton or Janssen in the lineup and Zajac back in. I'd be ecstatic if NJ could get a point from the Pens tomorrow.

No way NJ beats Pittsburgh? What?

It's one game. Anything can happen in one game. We could win 5-0 because Fleury has an off night.

I am sure half this board has to make a choice between cyanide or rat poison on their cornflakes every morning.

This isn't the NBA. Anybody can beat anybody and any team playing at their best is hard to beat.

When we are at our best we are pretty damn good too. But it seems most are blinded by what's right in front of them and the grass is always greener on the other side.
