Raffi Torres Appreciation Thread

I have to say when we signed him I was a bit put off. Still had that Canucks taint to him, wondered how he would fit in. If you would have told me he would be in less trouble with the NHL than Doan I would have thought you were crazy.

If you would have to told me he may have 20 goals by the end of the year i would have laughed in your face.

I have to now admit I am really starting to like the guy. He is a intense player that wants to win and brings it everynight. Last couple of games I have watched he has been if not the best player on the team one of the best. He could be one of GMDMs best reclamation projects behind Vrbata.

Lets here it for Raffi

Torres always plays his best hockey when its later in the season and in the playoffs. Hopefully he can pull off a better performance in the playoffs for the Coyotes(if we make it in) than he did with Edmonton and Vanvouver.

I always loved him when he was with Edmonton. I hate Vancouver so my opinion of him dropped a bit last year, but I still loved the signing. Great sandpaper guy.

This. Saw the Avs game in person and he showed many of the characteristics from his 2006 Oilers cup run.

He's a boss. I loved it when we signed him, and he has not disappointed. I love him.

We need guys like Raffi if we want to get to playoffs and then do something when we get there. Wished we would have had him against Detroit last year.

This.

weve been a bit soft in previous years. I love having a guy that will bang and grind and fight like mike vicks favorite dog. We didnt make many moves with ufas but i felt this was our best signing.
