Couldn't agree with Cherry more about Kadri and especially Komisarek.

We gave Crabb, Armstrong, Boyce, Lombardi, Kulemin etc. more of a chance than Kadri.

Think about that for a second. Sad organization. No meritocracy.

I noticed this last night and it seems to be happening again tonight - why is Steckel getting more minutes than Kessel?

Again, that just seems weird. Is this Carlyle sending a message?

Yeah, guaranteed that the guys making fun of Komisarek are cowards themselves.

I'm wondering if Kadri will even be a Leaf by the time the summer ends.

I agree. If you're not going to give the kid a fair shot over guys who clearly don't care, then trade him to a team that will. At that point, I might have to question whether I should continue following such a team, as well.

I didn't catch Don's segment, but I have to say, Kadri looks good out there. And no one can say that it's in spite of being in the A. I think Burke has a great strategy when he talks about keeping prospects in the A to learn their craft and pay their dues.

Kulemin is the best player out of all those guys. Ugh, he doesn't deserve the hate. Bad year? Yes. Really bad. Offensively.

He's still an amazing player in every other aspect. I miss him right now, he's such a Carlyle player.

We sent him down when Armstrong came back.

As a goalie, I have no idea what you are seeing. Dion tipped it just a few feet in front of him and because he was trying to make the save with his chest, like you're supposed to in order to contain the puck with maximum rebound control, he was caught going left.

Kadri was sent down because he didn't have to go through waivers. That's pretty much it. If this really was a "you have to earn your spot" team, then the players I've mentioned numerous times before wouldn't be in the NHL. They'd still be earning an NHL paycheque, but they'd be riding buses to games.

I don't see a tip. It just looked like Gus guessed left and totally blew the shot.
