Oh man ... I hope this says what I think it says.
GDT in today's Game 7 in the SEL:
Quote:
Intressant kamp framför Fasth i AIK-kassen efter avblåsning. Båda lagen försöker inte helt överraskande pinka revir...
Google Translate:

An interesting fight ahead Fasth the AIK-bag after interruption. Both teams are trying not surprisingly pee turf ...
Hopefully a Swedish poster can confirm .... but that looks like a "marking their territory" reference.

"I do not think we are good enough and not sufficiently substantial in its own zone at all in this period," said AIK's back Patrik Nemeth told TV4.
Nemeth on the ice for both goals against (one PP/one ES).

AIK now down 3-1 after another PP goal by Skellefteå.
Klingberg was on the ice for the goal, but he didn't get a point. Nemeth was on the ice for the goal against as well.
Nemeth has played just under 12 minutes, and Klingberg has played just under 11 minutes.
Based on the GDT ... Skellefteå seems to be controlling the play.

AIK takes another penalty ... Skellefteå scores another PP goal to go up 4-1 .... Nemeth on the ice for all 4 goals against. The notes said this goal went off a defender ... didn't say which one.
After the 4th goal, AIK started pressuring and forced several icings in a row. The pressure got them a PP, and they scored to make it 4-2. They kept the pressure on, pulled the goalie with more than 3 minutes to go, and Skellefteå just scored to make it 5-2 into an empty net.
There's about 2 minutes left in the game.

So Klingberg's team won, right?
Damn. Was hoping for Nemeth to move on.

Yeah, Klingberg's team Skellefteå will face Brynäs (Emil Molin) in the finals.
AIK scored a shorthanded goal with 13 seconds left to make it 5-3. I feel bad for Nemeth. Even if he wasn't directly responsible for all 4 of the first goals against, it's tough to be on the ice for all of them.

Yeah, it is.
Jarnkrok is out with illness, so rumor is that Molin will take his spot on the first line tonight as the SEL finals begin.

That's great for Molin ... and I <3 Google Translate!
Hopefully both teams pee on the turf early an often!

More great stuff from the SEL game chat of today's game:

State in Skellefteå for tonight's first national finals match is rude good. The team is wholly non-life and disease-free as far as we know and the team formed as expected.

It's 4-1 Brynas at the moment, halfway through the game. Molin doesn't appear to be playing much. He might have gotten injured.

I haven't had a chance to update yet, but during the live game chat they reported that the team apparently decided to move Larsson up to the top line over Molin. They said Larsson was the SEL Rookie of the Year.

Makes sense. Larsson was one of Sweden's best players at the WJC.
Brynas won 6-3. Neither Klingberg nor Molin figured in the scoring.
