Win would be huge, obviously.

Completely eliminate Jets from playoffs essentially, and further solidify our own spot.

We could really use a W here, as I really don't like the idea of a 4 day break before a game in Philly.

In that case...Lets go into 8th seed in the East in case Penguins pass the Rangers for the lead in the Atlantic

Bishop didn't travel with the team. Has Lehner been recalled?

Not that I should care who's backing Andy up... he'll be fine.

I would imagine that Baldy Auldy will be backing up Anderson.

Holy crap, Sens could be in 9th even with a point or 2 tomorrow if that is the case by Friday.

Another must win...

Come on boys! This could very well be the hardest game of the season yet: the Jets, in Winnipeg with their season on the line. Doesn't get much more epic than this as far as regulation season goes!

What's interesting in the race is that if we can manage to pass Florida (keep in mind they'll have two games in hand after tonight). Even if Buffalo passes us and Washington gains more points they'd pass Florida for 3rd and we'd still get 8th. People often overlook Florida, but they could miss the playoffs just like Ottawa could.

Is it wrong that one of the things I'm most looking forward to in this game is what kind of chants the Winnipeg crowd will come up for us?

Haha I was just about to post how I wonder what chants they will use, you beat me to it.

The Sens haven't looked that good in previous meetings with Winnipeg, they definitely need to come out strong for this one as both teams are fighting for playoffs.

Huge game tonight, Jets will be playing hard and the crowd will be intense. Hopefully Ottawa can wether the storm.

Call Lehner up! Remember when Edmonton was in the Cup finals and they lost Roloson - Mactavish had dressed the back-up that night who wouldn't be his starter in this event, Edmonton lost that game and the series, they came back with (Conklin I think) the next game but it was too late.

If Anderson gets hurt and Auld goes in the net and bombs, it could cost us 2 points - why take any chances at this point, get Lehner up here, he'd be our starter if Andy went down, they are playing with fire.

Dress the best players, that's what the NHL is all about. Auld's NHL career is over, it's sad, but that's pro sports.
