My guess is that he starts on the 4th line.

As the Rangers advance and if he plays well, he'll find himself on the second line, eventually.

Fourth line behind who? Rupp on the third?

No.

So much for sending Gorton down to Tampa

What a horrid night of hockey last night.

Hopefully we can get Chris a contract and we have nothing to do with York or his program again.

You think he's going to just start on the second line?

Hagelin spent 2 months in the AHL, came up and even he didn't get top 6 minutes right away.

I think Kreider is going to have to earn it...

Did he announce he is going back to college for one more year, and is going to sign with Boston yet?

Well, the kid certainly knows how to handle himself in a media setting already. There is a lot to be said for that. Not all 20 year old college kids could be as professional.

Not being on the fourth line means second line? Since when?

He can be signed and in practice by Wednesday morning.

If he decides he doesn't need to be at the rally on Tuesday, he can be in practice on Tuesday morning.

As much as I want to see him play for the Rangers ASAP, I would rather wait and let him start fresh next season than throw him right into playoff NHL hockey.

I'm guessing he's going to be at the rally. Hopefully he'll sign afterwards but I get the impression that Chris is going to do things when he's good and ready. This is a team event and he's going to be there.

So, you're ok with Johnny Malkin?

I was against bringing him in, but now I think I'm for it. He'll be fresh legs for us and could make a difference. Others teams also don't have any kind of scouting report on him

Yes it was stupid to send someone. I'm sure Gorton and management could have watched the game in NY instead of going down and looking desperate. If the organization becomes too needy with Kreider that might not sit well with him. It's ridiculous how some of you forget to consider that Kreider matters most not your own selfish need of just seeing him in a Rangers jersey so he won't bail to the Bruins.

If we do bring him in. He won't be the reason we win OR lose. I think he could help and provide spark. Plus, we are instantly better by getting rid of Mitchell

Yes. Kreider is going to wait another 16 months and then sign with boston because because Gorton went to Tampa to talk to him about signing. Take off the tin foil hat.
