Utter collapse. Marking in the box went absolutely AWOL.
Mid field play fell apart when Thorrington and La Toux ran out of gas. Both played fairly well up to about the 60 minute mark. Koffie looked very lazy and uninvolved today IMO
What ever first loss of the season. BUT man this offensive is horrible, they just stand still so ****ing annoying
Offense was fine.. lack of finish and such or it was easily 2-0 at least before SJ woke up. That one stike from Hassli after it was 1-0 almost went in. It was a beautiful strike and it was hit so well it went right through the goalies diving hands but his face/chest was there to do the rest.
First 60 minutes were great, next 15 awful and the last 15 were just meh.. so that's a win right?
I've been trying real hard to watch the Whitecaps, I played and coached soccer for a long time and fervently followed the original Whitecaps, but the entertainment value is nil. Their passing, ball control, and offense are all poor and I turn the game off after repeated offensive pushes that result in them ultimately passing the ball back to their own half of the pitch and even all the way back to their goaltender.
An old saying....it's so boring paint watches them dry.
And what does he know about footy? Seems to be like a big wig hire.
How much will he have to do with the on-pitch product, though? Seems to me like he'll be the one in charge of the business side of things. Branding, marketing, finance, etc...

He is a fan of the sport but it doesn't really matter he will be making business decisions not soccer decisions. This is a man who gets things done...expect a training facility very quickly.
Even the Whitecaps didn't lose five straight last year.
We need to start winning soon. Caps have dropped to 7th in the West and LA is 8th. It's only a matter of time before they pick things up. It's going to be really tough against SKC though. They're absolutely on fire and the undisputed the top team in the league right now after beating RSL. They did, however, play yesterday so will be a little short on rest.
