Game 77: Blues @ Coyotes 3-25-2012|6PM|(Pressing Our Luck Edition)

St Louis has one spin left and they elect to play it.

Coyotes without an owner, no Shane Doan, no 1st line Center or much offensive skill for that matter, still hanging on against all odds have a chance to take the lead in Division and win this all important game. They have 1 spin they have to use. Can they avoid the Whammy???

Come on 2 big ****ing points!!!!!!

We want to win that our first ****ing division title!!!!!

We want to go all the way and win it all!!!!!

No facing Detroit in the 1st round again!!!!!!!

NO ****ING WHAMMYS!!!!!!

Today's GDT is:

Peter Tomarken Approved!!!!!!!!!!!! R.I.P.

I dont want LOL to start but starting Smith could be a double whammy against the Coyotes here.

Bad joke, I know.

We never play well on the second of a back-to-back.

It's encouraging that in the last two games we didn't give up the first goal nor dug a hole. This team is making improvements over the beginning of the month

I'd really like to know what's wrong with Verby. Illness, then he's back, then illness, back for one game, now illness again. We all need to chip in and buy him some multivitamins or something.

He may have only played the other night because otherwise wed only have 11 forwards. we have bolduc up now though. (Who brought some nice energy). Hopefully vrbata is back though.

I saw illness but also lower-body injury. But he took the warmup?

The husband thinks it's some sort of gastro-intestinal distress. Maybe he just needs to get more fiber in his diet.

I really don't think we're pressing our luck here. The boys have remained pretty consistent, in that they have needed to win out 2/3 for some time now and they've been doing just that.

Vrbata had a pretty severe allergic reaction a few days ago.

I hate to say it but i think its one of the more logical games to start lol if we want to give smith even a small break coming down the stretch. Tough though when every game means much

I remember when we beat St Louis very easy and often in the regular season, now they are a team we can not look past si nce they are on the up. Hitchcock has done a good job turning around a team that seemed dead in the water early on. Hopefully that shootout loss to LA in their last game shot their confidence level down.

Should be a great one as this could be a 1st round playoff preview.

I think that would be prudent.... sometimes you just gotta let the horse rest.

Final day of my fantasy league and I desperately need a goalie win... I'm throwing Barbs in there then.

Sounds like labarbera is starting. doan is still serving his suspension. aucoin, pyatt, vrbata and pouliot have been banged up so not sure if any of them play. that leaves something like...

Whitney-hanzal-korpikoski
torres-langkow-brule
boedker-gordon-vermette
Bolduc-chipchura-bissonnette

yandle-morris
oel-klesla
schlemko-rozsival

I am pretty sure vermette was playing some with gordon last game. If you have him centering a line that puts gordon on the fourth line and one of chip or bolduc on the third line which shouldnt happen. hopefully vrbata is back in.

whitney-hanzal-vrbata
boedker-vermette-brule
Torres-langkow-korpikoski
Chip-gordon-bissonnette

Looks a lot better
