Ray Whitney with an even strength goal PLZ! I'm gonna be eliminated from my fantasy league, right before the finals, if I don't get either a goal or end with another plus for the rest of the night. Ugh, no Toews, Sedin, Franzen or Howard recently. Brutal.
That'll do it. I can understand the guys are tired after last nights effort, but there's no passion in this game. They've played this entire game as if a win or loss makes no difference to the standings. Full credit to the Blues, though. Freakishly good team.

I don't understand how LOL still has an NHL job. Being above average a few times a year doesn't make up for abysmal performances in every other game.
That being said, I'm not sure what you guys were expecting. The Blues play a tight game that requires composure and skill to get through. The Coyotes don't exactly have that in abundance. With Doan and Vrbata out, we have the lowest scoring roster in the league.
Well, I just got back and I have to say, we need an upgrade at back up goalie. Even more, we need some skilled forwards. We won't go past 5 games into the playoffs with that kind of power play. Yea, Elliot is ungodly good, but he wasn't even tested except for about 3 shots.
Is it just me or is Vermette just absolutely useless?
He hit a post tonight (again). I think that he will do well for us in the playoffs and next year. He had no defensive lapses (unlike Yandle (again)). Yandle should be called "No-handle Yandle."
Well, can't win em all. We had a few chances, but what can ya do. We did have what, 5 power plays? I agree with previous poster though, it didn't feel like the energy was there for a playoff team. And Muppett, you can't blame us haha!
We could have had Brian "The Berlin Wall" Elliot and Hitchcocks boing trap and we still wouldn't have won this one.
Remember, you need to score at least one goal to win in this league.
I seem to remember winning against Dallas a couple of years ago. I think Bryz got the shutout and we won in the shootout. We won 2 games in a row while only scoring 1 goal. I almost want to say we won 3 out of 4 games while only scoring 2 goals. Your point is still valid though.
