You mean off course that you suddenly have very specific word order rules that only takes place in quite special circumstances. So if that is tough even for modern Latvians, it's probably "used" to indicate whether you are educated or not.....a "mark of the refined"......(or too make sure in wartime you can always tell who is a spy lol)
Like in Denmark if you don't like salt-liquorice, then there is something fishy (it's something most foreigners either truly hate or love so much than when you come to visit you have to bring it with you).

yep.....if i was a spy master i would feed all suspects with salt-liquorice and watch their faces intently....
also "Øllebrød" (Beer-bread) - looks like "boiling baby-pooh" (liquid brown) is great as well...but actually it's a bit like russian "kvas" so it only works for more western spies! Love to show it to american though

Well kvas is very well known here and if the "beer bread" is anything like kvas then i have no problem with it.

In Denmark you just eat it warm close to boiling point....some put whipped cream, milk or eggnot on top of it. The old style is with thick lumps of bread....but i like it better with more equal powdered stuff (it's like milks with lumps is not my style either).

Iceland is good in 1 sport....handball & in chess they are good as well though (and not that bad in Football), but when under 300.000 people on a volcanic island with glaciers.....you can't be good at everything lol

You know when news appeared on latvian forums that jamaicans want to qualify for sochi, lots of commentators made fun of our team that with the kind of play our team is showing they wouldnt be suprised if we lost to jamaica ofcourse thats the usual overreaction and anger from latvian fans.

Is it hard adapting to a brave new world..... - well you do seem very disappointed since you still only have 2 QF's in WC. It's like the fans mentally expect a QF every time?
but hockey will get tougher and tougher with so many middle ranked countries that can all beat each other.

Well it looks like Nolan will be staying for the next year too,as i can understand from Kirovs Lipmans statement that 1 year is not enough to prove yourself,so it 90 % that nolan will be the coach next year aswell.

Lots of fans still think of denmark and norway as "inferior" to us,and a loss to them absolutley unforgivable.
