Eakin recalled. Who scratched now? I thought the 4th line played the best last night. I don't get it

Perhaps due to Semin's injury?

Ya but Semin didn't play last night either. And I thought ward played really well on the 4th line. So I am wondering who will get scratched

Scratch Ward. Even as a checker, he has to score once in a blue moon.

I would like to see Wides or Carlson scratched. They are in the comfort zone, its time to knock em both down a peg.

Have to disagree here with you my man!

I like the D how it is now. We need our most experienced Dmen down the stretch.

Also I think Carlson and Wideman are getting a bit of a bum wrap. They make a ton more good plays than bad.

I'm meh on Ward. He was strong last nite but without Semin we really do need more offense in the lineup.

Not a snowballs chance in hell i ever click that freak link ever again.

I would almost rather hear him speaking in tongues as he was wont to do.

Joel Ward's last non empty net goal came January 7th in the 5-2 loss vs San Jose.

Scratch Aucoin for Eakin.

Green and Ovie were playing the points on the PP last night. If Wideman isn't on the PP, scratch him for Orlov.

Wideman needs a scratch. Badly. Good lord, its been a long time since I've seen one of our players prone to making such big boneheaded mistakes. He needs to sit a couple of games.

I don't quite understand how it is so easy for so many to just completely ignore that Ward has only been on for 20 non PP goals against all season and is a team best +12 while the likes of Ovechkin have been on for 60 non PP goals against and is -9. Think about that for a second.

Sure Ward is doing next to nothing on the offensive end but his defensive work is excellent. Anyone remember Jan Erixon? Well apparently his second coming is wearing 42 for the Caps...
