If I were to guess ... they might see how he handles some practice situations ... but they aren't going to get much of that.

yeah I wouldn't worry about that.

The guy's got a full season of college hockey under his belt and the Texas Stars are going nowhere fast. I can see why they'd like to have him up with the big team to get accustomed to the guys and the lifestyle. He can learn alot just by going to practice and being around the team.

Right ... I just don't want to jump to conclusions just yet ... of course that was before Bob Sturm's comment.

I was just saying it's not out of the question, but I agree he's likely head to playing duty in Dallas ... even before Bob Sturm said his piece.

I don't like burning a year for seven games. Perhaps if we knew they'd make the playoffs. Speaking of does he burn a year if he plays in the playoffs but not the regular season?

Regardless I'm happy he's signed.

i don't think sturm know's much more than we do, i think he is just putting 2+2 together

i think hes probably going to play too but it could be that they wanted to give him the added benefit of collecting an nhl check until he joins the AHL.

Ya I agree. By being put on the roster he COULD technically play tomorrow, but I doubt he will. IMO there's very little chance Gulutzan plays a kid with no idea of the system or a practice under his belt that quickly.

Yeah I don't agree with that. He broke the Auld trade.

Regardless of that fact, he has significantly more access to the players and staff than we do. He could definitely just putting two and two together in this case ... but he's way more in the know than anyone on here.

In response to someone else on twitter, Mark (ESPN) told a fan he thinks Reilly will play in Dallas, but he's hoping to talk to GMJN to confirm.

I don't know if we can post just random people's tweets so I'll just leave it that. Does it matter if it's a fan or a team official? I know some twitter accounts get blacked out on here.

well stepneski think's he is going to play from this and sturm thinks he is going to be on the benn line so im going to say the chances are very very high he plays
